24 мая, в памятную дату пос.Скачки – состоится Литургия в 10-00, на месте обретения иконы святого праведного Симеона Богоприимца, и Крестный ход в 12-30 с освящением Николаевского источника.
24 (11 ст.ст.) мая 1800 года на выезде из Красного Села, с правой стороны от дороги по направлению к Петербургу, крестьянин Василий Кисляков, работая на своей пашне, увидел, как неожиданно у края небольшого холма, разбросав глыбы земли, вырвалась струя воды. Образовалась промоина с водяным ключом посередине. В ней и обнаружили плавающую икону. По указанию императора Павла I икону поместили в Троицком храме Красного Села. При участии императрицы Марии Феодоровны икона была богато украшена. Все Государи и члены императорской семьи усердно молились пред этой иконой, посещая Красное Село во время красносельских военных маневров. Из книги дьякона Петра Дмитриева "Очерк истории Красносельской Троицкой церкви и ее прихода ко дню 175-летнего юбилея" (СПб., 1908). На месте обретения иконы была построена каменная часовня, и ежегодно 24 мая из Троицкой церкви к ней совершался многотысячный Крестный ход, собиравший множество паломников из Санкт-Петербурга и губернии. Икона прославилась многими бывшими от нее чудесами и исцелениями, и стала главной святыней всего Красного Села. Множество людей приезжало из Петербурга и его пригородов для молитвы перед этой иконой, и по вере получая просимое. Не смотря на утрату драгоценной ризы в послереволюционное лихолетье, икона была спасена верующими людьми после закрытия Свято-Троицкой церкви Красного Села в 1937 году. И, по окончании Великой Отечественной войны была передана в Александро-Невскую церковь. В 2016 году на месте обретения иконы было завершено строительство храма. Икона св. Симеона Богоприимца была возвращена в храм на место своего обретения и теперь доступна каждому для сугубой молитвы и прошения к Богу в своих бедах и нуждах.

Many people came from St. Petersburg and its suburbs to pray in front of this icon, and by faith received what they asked for. Despite the loss of precious robes during the post-revolutionary hard times, the icon was saved by believers after the closing of the Holy Trinity Church of the Red Village in 1937. And, at the end of World War II, was transferred to the Alexander Nevsky Church. In 2016, the temple was completed on the site of the acquisition of the icon. Icon of St. Simeon the God-Receiver was returned to the temple to the place of her acquisition and is now available to everyone for pure prayer and petition to God in her troubles and needs.
