Сегодня поехали в центр, чтобы забраться на Baiyoke Tower (самый здоровенный небоскрёб Бангкока, да и всего Таиланда). Стоило выйти на улицу, как встроенный прогноз погоды в телефоне отчаянно завопил об огромном уровне солнечной радиации, мол без химзащиты на улице опасно и всё такое. Я и не знал, что он так умеет :)
В прошлым году мы поднимались на башню вечером с моим товарищем Егором. Тогда к билету прилагался бесплатный коктейль в баре на обзорной площадке. На этот раз бар был пуст и безжизненен (он работает по вечерам), а вместо коктейля нам предложили фруктовый шведский стол: туева хуча свежих фруктов, мороженого, странных фруктовых соков (вы когда-нибудь пили сок из хризантем?), шоколадный фонтан и пр. В общем, ешь-не хочу.
Лайфхак: в Бангкоке очень дешевый Uber, раза в два дешевле, чем в России. Ездить на нём — чуть ли не выгоднее, чем на местном метро (которое, к слову, не совсем метро, так как расположено на виадуках над землей), особенно если вас 3+ человека. И уж точно выгоднее, чем торговаться с местными таксистами. Никакого нового приложения, к слову, устанавливать не нужно, Убер — он во всем мире Убер.
