«Дело Маннергейма» всё ближе к прокуратуре. Позавчера информагентство Регнум послало запрос в Генпрокуратуру с просьбой о проверке по памятной доске Маннергейму. Гендиректор и главред информагенства также просят принять меры по охране памяти предков — со ссылкой на преамбулу Конституции России.
«16 июня 2016 г. была открыта мемориальная доска в честь Карла Маннергейма в г. Санкт-Петербурге на здании Военного инженерно-технического университета (ВИТУ) по адресу: Захарьевская улица, 22.
Считаем, что увековечивание памяти союзника Гитлера в городе, пережившем фашистскую блокаду, в которой Маннергейм принимал непосредственное активное участие, напрямую оскорбляет память сотен тысяч жертв блокады Ленинграда и сотен тысяч погибших при обороне города. Установка доски вызывает большой общественный резонанс среди живущих блокадников и ветеранов, и десятков миллионов их верных наследников, считающих этот факт личным оскорблением и оскорблением памяти. ...»
Открытие памятной доски Маннергейму есть ни что иное, как оскорбление памяти о Победе советского народа в Великой Отечественной войне. В Санкт-Петербурге этой доске не место — такое мнение города было консолидированно высказано 3 июля на конференции «Город против памятной доски Маннергейму».
Приведя данные детальных исторических исследований вины Маннергейма в сотнях тысячах смертей советских граждан, Регнум приводит пример правильного решения аналогичной ситуации с памятной доской в недавнем прошлом нашей страны.

The Mannerheim Case is getting closer to the prosecutor. The day before yesterday, the Regnum news agency sent a request to the Prosecutor General with a request for verification on the Mannerheim memorial plaque. The general director and editor-in-chief of the news agency are also asking to take measures to protect the memory of their ancestors - with reference to the preamble to the Constitution of Russia.
“On June 16, 2016, a plaque was opened in honor of Karl Mannerheim in St. Petersburg at the building of the Military Engineering and Technical University (VITU) at 22 Zakharyevskaya Street.
We believe that the perpetuation of the memory of Hitler's ally in a city that survived the fascist blockade, in which Mannerheim took an active part, directly offends the memory of hundreds of thousands of victims of the siege of Leningrad and hundreds of thousands who died during the defense of the city. The installation of the board causes a great public outcry among the living blockades and veterans, and tens of millions of their faithful heirs, who consider this fact a personal insult and an insult to memory. ... "
The opening of the memorial plaque to Mannerheim is nothing but an insult to the memory of the Victory of the Soviet people in World War II. This board does not belong in St. Petersburg - such an opinion of the city was expressed in a consolidated way on July 3 at the conference “The City Against the Mannerheim Memorial Board”.
Given the data of detailed historical research on the guilt of Mannerheim in hundreds of thousands of deaths of Soviet citizens, Regnum gives an example of the correct solution of a similar situation with a memorial plaque in the recent past of our country.
