Год назад, около 29 июля 2015, корпорация Майкрософт выпустила Виндоус 10, новую операционную систему. Выпустила и навязчиво предлагает всем перейти на эту ОС с предыдущих (Виндоус 7 и 8). Т.к. Десятка под подозрением, я разобрался, как от этого предложения отказаться окончательно. Решил написать, так как лучше поздно, чем никогда.
Переход выполняется через обновление Виндоус 7, для отказа нужно с этим обновлением поработать. Нужно настроить регулярно устанавливаемые обновления. Они вообще полезны, т.к. закрывают дыры в безопасности системы. Я сохранил установку всех предлагаемых обновлений, но отказался от тех, что добавляют функцию «Получить Windows 10». Сделал это через стандартный механизм отказа, никаких программ не скачивал.
Каждое обновление имеет уникальный номер вида KBnnnnnnn (knowledge base article, заметка из базы знаний, где nnn — это номер заметки). Покопавшись в интернете нашёл список из 5 обновлений:
