В Петербурге почти три месяца висит памятная доска Маннергейму. На ней изображён мужчина с орденами и написано: «Генерал-лейтенант русской армии Густав Карлович Маннергейм. Служил с 1887 по 1918 гг.». Примечательно, что её постоянно заливают красной краской — вот и вчера «этот позор» был измазан снова. Что происходит в центре Петербурга, культурной столицы? И когда закончится?
Вчера в городе отмечали День памяти жертв блокады Ленинграда, начавшейся 8 сентября 1941 года. Маннергейм имеет к ней прямое отношение наравне с гитлеровцами — финские войска под его командованием замыкали кольцо блокады с севера, пытались уничтожить Дорогу жизни и виновны в смертях тысяч блокадников, умерших от голода. Памятная доска Маннергейму оскорбляет память наших предков, сражавшихся в Великую Отечественную войну против Гитлера и его союзников за то, чтобы мы жили, является позором для Петербурга.
Позором и назвал эту доску немолодой мужчина, на моих глазах кинувший в неё вчера банку с красной краской.
«Сдаюсь!» — сказал он скрутившим его охранникам, а затем представился запоздавшему полицейскому: «Тишин Анатолий Сергеевич». Когда они отходили в сторонку, ответил на мой вопрос.
— Зачем вы это сделали?
— Я выразил своё отношение к этому позору. Надеюсь, моему примеру последуют все неравнодушные граждане нашей России.
Неравнодушные есть, и это радует. За три месяца с момента открытия...
