Идя в театр, я ничего не знал про мюзикл American Idiot (кроме статьи в википедии и пары видео на ютубе), и особо ничего не ожидал. В таких случаях нередко оказывается всё супер-супер. А тут вот внезапно не оказалось. Не то чтобы плохо, просто меня не тронуло. При этом остальной зал демонстрировал полный восторг и долгие стоячие овации. И отзывы в интернетах были позитивные.

Going to the theater, I did not know anything about the American Idiot musical (except for the Wikipedia article and a couple of videos on YouTube), and I didn’t expect anything special. In such cases, everything is often super-super. And then suddenly it turned out. Not that it’s bad, it just didn’t touch me. At the same time, the rest of the hall showed complete delight and long standing ovations. And the reviews on the Internet were positive.
