Читаю учебник истории за 19 век и, сцуко, аж жаль, что нынешние правители стесняются писать образно.
Послушайте, как (современно) звучит:
Это "Манифест 13 июля 1826 года", написанный после суда над Декабристами.
«Дело, которое мы всегда считали делом всей России,
окончено; преступники восприяли достойную их казнь;
Отечество очищено от следствий заразы, столько лет среди его
таившейся».
«В государстве, где любовь к монархам и преданность престолу
основаны на природных свойствах народа, где есть
отечественные законы и твердость в управлении, тщетны и безумны
всегда будут усилия злонамеренных: они могут таиться во мраке,
но при первом появлении отверженные общим негодованием
они сокрушатся силою закона. В сем положении
государственного состава каждый может быть уверен в непоколебимости порядка, безопасность и собственность его хранящего, и спокойный в настоящем может прозирать с надеждою в будущее. Не

усовершаются постепенно отечественные установления,
дополняются недостатки, исправляются злоупотребления».
