После рекомендаций книг Шнарха знакомые стали спрашивать, что еще толкового и глубокого можно прочитать про отношения.
Критерии "толкового и глубокого" у всех разные. Я, например, ценю книги, после которых остается интригующее эмоционально-интеллектуальное послевкусие, приглашение к диалогу. Во время чтения таких книг я начинаю страстно спорить с авторами, радоваться и иногда возмущаться тому, что они предлагают по-новому посмотреть на привычные вещи и расширяют мой внутренний "контейнер".
В прошлом году мне посчастливилось встретить такую книгу по теме отношений и шире коллективных представлений о женском и мужском, энергиях любви и власти, которые определяет наши выборы - Eros/Power: Love in the Spirit of Inquiry. Bradbury and Torbert, 2016. Билл Торберт и Хилари Брадбери "Эрос/Власть: любовь как дух познания"
Книга написана в форме живого диалога двух ярких личностей - мужчины и женщины, исследователей взрослого развития. Они смело рассказывают о своем пути следования за эротическим импульсом жизни, опыте значимых отношений, рефлексируют, как с очередными вызовами жизни и рубежами зрелости менялись их представления о любви, силе, власти, отношениях, делятся тем, как всякий раз было непросто проходить эти кризисные и уязвимые этапы жизни.о.
В книге много перспектив - личная каждого героя, их диалог друг с другом, голоса ближнего круга, анализ биографических эпизодов с точки зрения методологии взрослого развития и коллективных процессов. В общем книга получилась очень живой, многогранной, глубокой и трогающей за живое. Рекомендую.

The book is written in the form of a lively dialogue of two bright personalities - men and women, researchers of adult development. They boldly talk about their path of following the erotic impulse of life, the experience of significant relationships, reflect on how their ideas about love, strength, power, relationships changed with the next challenges of life and maturity, share how it was not easy to go through these crisis and vulnerable stages of life.
