“You’re in and out at the same time.” Sasportas’ method is to try to create a space in which you activate your intuitive part as well as your analytical part, and the part that contemplates as well as the part that participates: “You create kind of a broken language.”

Sasportas explains that she works on a “vertical line” as well as on a “horizontal line”. The horizontal line is what can be seen, whereas the vertical represents going down into your subconsciousness: “It’s kind of an elevator of consciousness that can take you down to your dream area. To all the areas that you cannot really control.”

I'm getting ready for the Russian online week on work with collective injuries.

Specially chose not psychological topics of reports, but appeals to the topic of complex collective processes from the perspectives of science, art, philosophy, social activism. I am convinced that it is at the intersection of different disciplines, worldviews and practices that great clarity arises, a movement towards integrity and connectedness within a person, between people and in the world as a whole.

In the series of reports I was particularly touched by the performance of Judit Sasportas "Archeology of the invisible." Judit, an artist, sculptor, director, talks about how, with the help of art, people gain access to recognize, live and comprehend what has been soaked for a long time and has been hidden in society. Entering resonance with personal and collective experience, the artist through his works returns to society the memory of his scars and rejected experience, paving the way for the future.

Let's talk about this in more detail at the summit, come. In the meantime, I am sharing here a fragment of Judit’s film “The Swamp of the Subconscious” and her understanding of the healing presence in the vertical and horizontal dimensions of personal and collective experience.
