Во время учёбы донесли до нас - ну, до меня точно =) - одну особенность психики человека: ему необходимо во что-то верить. Как ни странно, но с этой задачей успешно справлялась и справляется религия. С сопутствующими плюсами и минусами. И да - вера и религия не одно и то же, но сейчас не об этом.
В какой-то момент государства начали становиться светскими, хотя бы часть оных. Одним из них был СССР... Как бы кто ни относился к нему, но руководство было людьми толковыми и понимало, что просто запретить религию не дав ничего взамен, ни к чему хорошему не приведёт - и церковь хоть и стали притеснять, но окончательно всё-таки не закрыли. Во время Великой Отечественной так и вообще её неплохо так вернули... Ну а потом появился Моральный кодекс строителя коммунизма. Вон, некоторые знающие люди говорят, что он с Библии сделан.
Россия страна православная, даже атеисты у нас и то православные атеисты, но есть и исключения конечно же. 70 лет "государственного атеизма" слишком мало, чтоб как-то существенно поменять ситуацию, да и не поменять её запретами - природа пустоты не терпит и её чем-то надо заполнять. В государстве обычно эту роль исполняет идеология, но её у нас официально по закону как бы нет (на деле - есть). Естественно, религия начнёт брать своё - и это, как ни относитесь, естественный процесс. Не всем такое по нраву в наш просвещённый(наверное всё-таки да) век и это очень даже понятно. Однако...
За тысячелетие православие впиталось в быт настолько, что мы массу всего просто не осознаем как наследие именно православия, оно стало для нас естественным как дыхание - потому-то и упомянутые выше атеисты у нас тоже православные, хотите вы того или не хотите. Власти же предержащие с религией будут считаться - не значит "всегда идти на поводу" или "всегда в контрах", но учитывать их будут обязательно.
А теперь, собственно, к чему это всё... Конечно к дебильным пляскам вокруг "Тангейзера", с петициями и митингами.
Начнём с административного увольнения Мездрича. Директор театра должен думать о том, о чём не должен режиссёр. Могла такая постановка привести к массовым возмущениям в "группе риска", которая себя уже проявила за последний год? Да к гадалке не ходи. Вот директор там как раз для того, чтоб подобного (!)не допускать(!). Так что увольнение его весьма грамотное административное действие. И заодно показывает, что Мединский всё-таки свои функции как министр культуры выполняет - тут тоже нельзя всё делить на черное и белое, "всё или ничего" - несмотря на его отношение ко всяким там "Левиафанам", "Батальонам" и "Утомленным солнцем 2 и 3"
А режиссёр... свобода творчества? Да пожалуйста - твори. Но если ты творишь дрянь, да ещё с провокациями - тебе прилетит по голове. Закон или не закон - пофигу. Прилетит и всё тут. Если гражданин в свои годы этого не понимает, то он просто дебил и получает по заслугам. Тем более, если провокации - а он именно в провокационной манере собирался ставить оперу - на тему религиозную. Да ещё в государственном театре, на государственном же финансировании ставить то, что приведёт к росту напряженности и конфликтам? Браво...

Что возвращает к действиям директора -> оправданному увольнению и всё такое.
Активисты... Горячие головы постоянно куда-то бегут и действуют под влиянием эмоций (не берём в расчёт провокаторов, что тоже возможно), так что ждать адеквата не следует. Требования частично понятны - нефиг такие постановки в НГАТОиБ крутить, с ними в частные театры, но вот выбранное поведение и скандирования - за гранью. Епископ тоже сплеча рубанул и сразу в суд.
Но как раз православных здесь понять гораздо проще - затронуты те темы, которые для них сакральны (причем если они этого не понимают, то реагируют лишь болезненнее). К чему бы это могло привести мы в самом начале года лицезрели во Франции (более ярко и характерно), либо особо активно в последние пару лет на ближнем востоке. Но у нас, к великому счастью, стараются восстановить цензуру, плюс полиция и спецслужбы в некоторых аспектах работают очень хорошо (ага, я в этом мегаэксперт =), но всё-таки)
А вот чего за всё это время не было видно, так это попыток найти понимания друг у друга, принести извинения и найти компромиссные решения ни со стороны православных, ни со стороны дирекции театра - сразу митинги и суды. Вот это-то и грустно. Очередной очаг напряжения с потенциалом взрыва или скорее взрывчика, но не нужен-то он вообще ни в каком виде...
