Затестил с Турбозмеем пакрафт "Спутник" от компании Тайм Триал. Честно говоря, изначально сомневался в работоспособности этого сочетания, думал только накупаюсь от души. На самом деле, все оказалось интереснее.
Во-первых, сам пакрафт прикольная штука: где-то 3-4 кг веса и вполне устойчивая на чопе (наверное, даже и на волнишках повыше можно, если осторожно). Сидеть удобно, можно полулежать и смотреть в небо. Отличная штука для рыбалки в одно лицо: через отмели пройдет, удочки, рыба и водка поместятся. С веслом кататься не пробовал, но, подозреваю, будет достаточно быстро и маневренно. Во-вторых, с Турбозмеем оно таки поехало - смог отъехать от берега и вернуться, хоть и не в саму точку старта. Рулить лежа, высовывая ноги за борт, держа парус в руках - несколько непривычное, но забавное занятие. И даже почти эффективное: мешало только сочетание легкого веса с толстыми баллонами и отсутствие киля. Чуть что не так - сразу сливаешься по ветру, а выровняться потом не очень просто. По отношению к волнам Спутник тоже ведет себя весьма интересно и неоднозначно: с одной стороны, ему все равно куда он развернут и что от него хотят, он хочет сливаться по направлению ветра и волн. С другой стороны, когда его все же выставишь строго хвостом к волнам, он их даже пытается ловить, как бы говоря "я не только для туристов с изгибом гитары, поугарать тоже умею".
Итог таков: по части катания с Турбозмеем пакрафт не сравним с сапом, но это не отменяет всех его других достоинств и применимости в куче других ситуаций. А тот факт, что пакрафт со змеем хоть и неидеально, но едет и управляется, вдохновляет на развитие темы: попробовать с байдаркой и/или каяком.

Almost something is wrong - you immediately merge with the wind, and then it is not very easy to level out. In relation to the waves, Sputnik also behaves very interesting and ambiguous: on the one hand, it doesn’t matter to him where it is deployed and what they want from it, it wants to merge in the direction of wind and waves. On the other hand, when you nevertheless expose it strictly tail to the waves, he even tries to catch them, as if to say "I am not only for tourists with a bend of a guitar, I can also scare away."
The result is this: in terms of riding with Turbozmey, packrafts are not comparable with glanders, but this does not negate all its other advantages and applicability in a bunch of other situations. And the fact that the packraft with a kite, though imperfect, but rides and is driven, inspires the development of the theme: try it with a kayak and / or kayak.
