Мне кажется, я могу даже не успеть дописать этот текст, как команда Avaya финиширует в городе Saint-Gilles Ies-Bains, так быстро они мчат на велосипедах с горы! Скоро они выйдут на последний этап трэк/пакрафт и уже через час могут войти в финишный створ! От ближайших преследователей их отделяет почти 4 часа, но они этого могут и не знать! Драматическая история развивается в борьбе за второе место. Две команды, 400Team Naturex (французы) и Haglofs Silva (шведы), последний день провели практически в очной борьбе, встречаясь в транзитках. Французы, казалось бы, находятся на пол корпуса (30 минут) впереди, однако в правилах существует требование обязательного сна, и обе эти команды не смогли истратить его часы на протяжении всей гонки. Поэтому в угоду правилам обе команды на крайнем пункте CP18 пытались потратить свое время сна, отсиживаясь в течение полутора часов, таким образом, если верить онлайн результатам, шведы истратили все 12 часов, а у французов остались 30 минут, что может сыграть с ними плохую шутку на финише, если они будут не достаточно быстры. Обиднее всего для французов был полученный штраф в 2 часа перед сплавом на каяках в ТА7, из-за которого они были вынуждены пропустить команду Avaya вперед (но и у этих тоже был штраф в 30 минут) .
Те команды, которые не успели к выходу на каяки засветло, сейчас отсиживаются в транзитной зоне. Команда RedFox, отдохнув 4 часа в каньоне на пункте CP15, выдвинулась на велоэтап перед каяками, и мы можем ожидать, что они через 5-6 часов смогут быть на воде и включиться в очную борьбу с другими командами, потому как мне кажется, что за почти сутки двигаясь в одиночку с большими разрывами до и после, они успели заскучать. Правда, если они не будут торопиться, то им придется заночевать на пункте CP17, который находится посреди этапа каякинга в бухте, где уже на всю ночь обустроились две команды: чехи Black Hill Salomon Opava Ne и эстонцы Estonian Ace Adventure. Это те две команды, которые успели проскочить первую часть каякинга до темноты, тем самым обеспечив себе 4 и 5 места в протоколе (если, конечно, все пойдет по плану). Blizzard уверенно и методично двигается вслед за командой RedFox то сокращая отрыв, то увеличивая до 6 часов, как сейчас. Им стоит очень сильно поторопиться, чтобы успеть на водный этап "сегодня".
А пока ждем финиша лидеров и рубилова за 2-3 место!
