Продолжаем рубрику "Наши руки не из попы". Один раз меня уже вытаскивали из сугроба за защиту, больше не хочу. Вчера добыл буксировочные проушины и довёл их до пригодного к установке состояния. Сегодня с товарищем Ильичом допилили, покрасили и поставили. Неспешная работа в гаражах доставляет чистый кайф. И машине полезно :)
P. S. Да, дальние болты - это штатные места крепления бампера. А дополнительные болты в передней части проушин - это чтоб при резком торможении на жёсткой сцепке их случайно не завернуло в радиатор. Ситуация маловероятная, но на всякий случай лучше посверлить и покрутить гайки. Всё равно всё закрасили и медной смазкой помазали. А пара лишних дырок в швеллере, который по прихоти британских инженеров зовётся бампером - ну и фиг с ними, это ж Дефендер, ему нормально :)

We continue the rubric "Our hands are not from the priests." Once I was already pulled out of a snowdrift for protection, I don’t want to. Yesterday I got towing eyes and brought them to a condition suitable for installation. Today, with comrade Ilyich, they finished, painted and put. Slow work in garages delivers a clean buzz. And the car is useful :)
P. S. Yes, distant bolts are regular bumper mounting locations. And additional bolts in the front of the eyes - this is so that during sudden braking on a rigid coupling they are not accidentally wrapped in a radiator. The situation is unlikely, but just in case it is better to drill and twist the nuts. All the same, everything was painted over and anointed with copper grease. And a couple of extra holes in the channel, which, at the whim of British engineers, is called the bumper - well, figs with them, this is Defender, he’s fine :)
