К кампании в защиту роддома №10 активно подключились независимые профсоюзы "Действие" и "Альянс врачей". В среду состоялась их встреча с врачами роддома и руководителем головного учреждения, Центра планирования семьи Олегом Латышкевичем. На этой встрече Олег Александрович и проговорился о реальных причинах попытки закрытия роддома:
"...В спор с главным врачом вступил активист профсоюза, оргсекретарь московской городской организации МПРЗ "Действие" Алексей Гусев. "Данная фраза не означает, что роддом останется в системе бюджетного оказания медицинской помощи. Кроме того, непонятно, с какой стати роддом должен менять профиль?", — заметил он. На это г-н Латышкевич произнес, пожалуй, главные слова за сегодняшнее утро:
— Послушайте, есть же определенные планы, есть определенные решения…
— Какой статус имеют эти планы? Официальный статус? Назовите номер документа и дату его принятия!
— Ну… если хотите знать мое личное мнение, то я считаю, что родильный дом должен быть на территории многопрофильной больницы, это мое личное мнение как акушера-гинеколога, как главного врача..."
