Какой бред. Территория Донбасса до революции относилась не к Малороссии, а к Новороссии. "Название Украина себя дискредитировало" - это с чего же? Потому что там фошизм? А название Германия почему в таком случае себя не дискредитировало?
Но главная суть в том, что, как было понятно и раньше, донбасские ополченцы отстаивают вовсе не стремление Донбасса жить по своему, право на русский язык и т. д. Они нацелены на создание "альтернативной Украины" и на поглощение в дальнейшем своим государством всей Украины вплоть до Львова. Об этом не раз можно было прочитать, например, в паблике ВК "Ополчение Новороссии", где писалось от имени слишком многих деятелей ополчения и слишком детально и правдоподобно, чтобы этот ресурс не заслуживал внимания. А еще эти замечательные ролики ополченцев, начинавшиеся и заканчивавшиеся изображением танка с надписью "На Львов"!
Смысл существования этой "альтернативной Украины" - в уничтожении "украинскости" как чего-то отдельного от русскости и якобы "восстановлении" "подлинной" Малороссии, где все говорили по-русски, считали себя "такими же русскими" и частью России. Разумеется, такая "подлинная Малороссия" - не более чем фантом. Читали мы все эти жалкие потуги "новороссов" еще до Майдана доказывать, что "Шевченко писал по-русски" и что тексты Киевской митрополии XVII в. с пассажами типа "пилне а пилне запрашаем о повинности пастырское" написаны "на том же языке, что и "Житие протопопа Аввакума"". Но самое главное, что многие на Донбассе фанатично верят в эти вещи.
Понятно, что "свидомые" товарищи перегибают палку в другую сторону и, наоборот, разводят украинское и русское сильнее, чем это реально было в истории. Но одна крайность не оправдывает другую.
Итак, не самостоятельность Донбасса, а меч, направленный в сторону Киева, жаждущий уничтожения украинских истории и культуры. Можно ли этому сочувствовать? Лично я не могу.

The meaning of the existence of this "alternative Ukraine" is to destroy "Ukrainianness" as something separate from Russianness and supposedly "restore" the "true" Little Russia, where everyone spoke Russian, considered themselves to be "the same Russian" and part of Russia. Of course, such a "genuine Little Russia" is nothing more than a phantom. We read all these pathetic attempts of the “Novorossiysk” even before the Maidan to prove that “Shevchenko wrote in Russian” and that the texts of the Kiev Metropolis of the 17th century. with passages such as "sawn and sawn we ask about pastoral service" are written "in the same language as" The Life of Protopope Habakkuk "".
