Раньше я тут много писал о политике и, поскольку я знаю, что есть люди, целенаправленно интересующиеся моим блогом, боюсь, меня не простят, если я ничего не напишу перед президентскими выборами про эти выборы. К сожалению или к счастью за последний год жизнь в России и у меня лично поменялась, так что стало меньше времени и желания тут политиканствовать. Но чтобы не выглядеть трусливо спрятавшимся в кусты в решающий момент, напишу.
К сожалению, я не вижу кандидата, за которого на этих выборах можно было бы проголосовать. И даже если бы баллотировался Навальный, все равно не увидел бы. Нынешний набор кандидатов лишь ясно выявил, что проблема не лично в Путине, а в менталитете - отчасти российском, отчасти, быть может, и общемировом, каковым он является на текущий момент. И нужно ставить не простой вопрос "за кого голосовать", а более сложный - каким должен быть лидер России и каким путем должна идти Россия.
Мое скромное мнение как гражданина (да, я не политолог, но раз меня зовут на выборы, значит, мое мнение все-таки признают что-то значащим): России поможет только понимание того, что патриотизм не обязательно совмещать с унтер-пришибеевщиной. Можно стремиться делать Россию независимой и сильной и одновременно гуманно относиться к своему народу, не гнобить преподавателей, врачей, ученых и других простых и полезных для страны людей, которые честно трудятся и не причиняют ей вреда, а наоборот, делают ее лучше. Быть гуманным - не значит быть мягкотелым и безвольным. С теми, кто зловреден и враждебен, нужно быть жестким, но с теми, кто искренне настроен работать на благо страны - доброжелательным. Это подсказывает мне и мой 10-летний опыт преподавания. Именно сочетание жесткости к нерадивым студентам с доброжелательностью к старательным позволяет добиваться оптимальных результатов. А всегдашняя жесткость и всегдашняя мягкость одинаково вредны. Да, политика - это не то же, что преподавание, и бла-бла-бла, но, с другой стороны, вряд ли эти вещи совсем уж с разных планет, так что в определенной мере сравнение допустимо. Однако у нас в стране сейчас в моде жесткость без границ, и это плохо.
С другой стороны, призывы к гуманности не должны служить ширмой для подчинения России Западу, который все равно с нами гуманно обращаться не будет - это ясно из богатого опыта от ельцинских лет до нынешней Олимпиады. Россия должна быть не вассалом США, а независимым центром силы в мире.
Есть ли сейчас на выборах кандидат, который понимал и озвучивал бы все это? Увы, нет. В этом-то и беда.

My humble opinion as a citizen (yes, I am not a political scientist, but since I am called to the polls, it means that my opinion is still recognized as something significant): Russia will only be helped by the understanding that patriotism does not have to be combined with non-commissioning. You can strive to make Russia independent and strong and at the same time treat its people humanely, not spread rot for teachers, doctors, scientists and other people who are simple and useful for the country who work honestly and do no harm to it, but, on the contrary, make it better. To be humane does not mean to be soft-willed and weak-willed. With those who are malicious and hostile, you need to be tough, but with those who are genuinely determined to work for the good of the country - friendly. This also tells me my 10 years of teaching experience. It is the combination of rigidity for negligent students with benevolence for diligent students that allows us to achieve optimal results. And everlasting stiffness and everlasting softness are equally harmful. Yes, politics is not the same as teaching, and blah blah blah, but, on the other hand, it is unlikely that these things are really from different planets, so to some extent a comparison is permissible. However, in our country, stiffness without borders is now in fashion, and this is bad.
On the other hand, calls for humanity should not serve as a screen for subjugating Russia to the West, which will not treat us humanely anyway - this is clear from rich experience from the Yeltsin years to the current Olympics. Russia should not be a vassal of the United States, but an independent center of power in the world.
