Сантандер - столица автономной области Кантабрия на севере Испании. Город знаменит своими прекрасными пляжами (одними из лучших в стране), они здесь на любой вкус: небольшие уютные или протяженные как Эль Сардинеро, который даже разделён на два пляжа: первый Сардинеро и второй. Этот пляж пользуется большой популярностью у серферов, и сейчас, в несезон, это практически полностью их вотчина. В Сантандере интересное пейзажное сочетание: море и горы, а это всегда беспроигрышная комбинация, которой можно любоваться, не отрывая взгляд.
Помимо пляжей и красивейшего ландшафта в Сантандере есть интересные достопримечательности: ансамбль площадей старого города, величественное здание казино, целый ряд любопытных памятников, и конечно, парк и дворец Магдалены со смотровой площадкой, с которой открывается потрясающий вид на Бискайский залив. И ещё в некотором отдалении от центра расположен маяк Эль Фаро дель Кабо Майор (маяки - это вообще моя слабость❤️). Здесь мне повезло наблюдать прекрасный закат.
Мое главное впечатление о Сантандере, благодаря которому этот город навсегда останется в моем сердце, это океан. Казалось бы, в моем маршруте уже был океан в Биаррице, Сен-Жан-де-Люзе, Сан-Себастьяне, Сумайе, но везде он разный. И здесь он с одной стороны такой необузданный, а с другой - такой тёплый, располагающий. Жаль, камера не может передать его потрясающий цвет и запахи на этом побережье, воздух здесь невероятный. Засыпать и просыпаться под шум волн и наблюдать красивейший рассвет было поистине незабываемо.

Santander is the capital of the autonomous region of Cantabria in northern Spain. The city is famous for its beautiful beaches (one of the best in the country), they are here for every taste: small cozy or long like El Sardinero, which is even divided into two beaches: the first Sardinero and the second. And still at some distance from the center is the lighthouse of El Faro del Cabo Mayor (lighthouses are generally my weakness❤️). Here I was lucky to watch a beautiful sunset.
My main impression of Santander, thanks to which this city will forever remain in my heart, is the ocean. It would seem that my route already had an ocean in Biarritz, Saint-Jean-de-Luz, San Sebastian, Sumay, but everywhere it is different. And here it is, on the one hand, so unbridled, and on the other, so warm, comfortable. It’s a pity, the camera cannot convey its stunning color and smells on this coast, the air here is incredible. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of waves and watching the beautiful dawn was truly unforgettable.
