Утро начинается с хороших новостей: вышла наконец книжка о российских региональных идентичностях (с нашей главой про Сибирь), которую мы вместе с перфекционистами-редакторами делали два года.

Начинается всё с общей "рамки" российского регионализма и его волн, дальше идут сюжеты из разных мест: Европейская часть России, Урал, Сибирь, "неправославная часть" России (Татарстан, Дагестан).
Из двенадцати сюжетов основного содержания книги можно узнать, например, о патриотическом ребрендинге постсоветского Пскова, о том, почему Воронеж — не Париж, о перестроечном Свердловске, о наследии ГУЛАГа в Томске, о солидарности вокруг сибирской идентичности и её практических последствиях, и даже о голове Хаджи-Мурата.

Издатель говорит, что книга выйдет только 26 января, но Амазон выставил дату выхода книги 17 января и уже начал её продавать в Hardcover и Kindle edition.
Стоит книга (пока?) каких-то безумных денег даже в Kindle edition, но заказать её для библиотеки НГУ попробуем.

The book has 12 chapters + an introduction about the book and a conclusion about the "power of the provinces."
It all starts with the general “framework” of Russian regionalism and its waves, then there are stories from different places: the European part of Russia, the Urals, Siberia, the “non-Orthodox part” of Russia (Tatarstan, Dagestan).
From the twelve plots of the main content of the book, you can learn, for example, about the patriotic rebranding of post-Soviet Pskov, why Voronezh is not Paris, about perestroika Sverdlovsk, about the Gulag’s legacy in Tomsk, about solidarity around the Siberian identity and its practical consequences, and even about the head Haji Murata.
