У нас тут новости в продолжение истории с инициативой об окончательном запрете абортов в Польше, о которой я писал в начале недели.
У польских женщин получилось; Сейм врубил заднюю. В понедельник на улицы в общей сложности вышло около ста тысяч женщин. Два дня спустя в Польше профильный комитет в Сейме внезапно предложил отменить законопроект и Сейм подавляющим большинством голосов ( 352 против 58) его и отменил. Так, что можно чуть-чуть выдыхать по поводу Польши. Вообще, было очень интересно наблюдать как работает мирный протест, развивается дискуссия и резко меняется мнение у партии власти вслед за мнением общества.

Polish women succeeded; Diet cut back. On Monday, about a hundred thousand women took to the streets in total. Two days later, in Poland, the relevant committee in the Seimas suddenly proposed to repeal the bill and the Seimas by an overwhelming majority (352 against 58) canceled it. So, you can exhale a little about Poland. In general, it was very interesting to observe how the peaceful protest works, the discussion develops and the opinion of the ruling party drastically changes after the public opinion.
