Переехал, в квартире интернет Beeline. Он через l2tp, а старый роутер DIR-400 в родной прошивке такое не поддерживает. Нашёл прошивку dd-wrt (по сути, специальный Linux для роутера), но чтобы её поставить нужно было поднять tftp-сервер (tftpd) и разобраться в telnet-клиенте PuTTY, а перешив роутер испытать несколько неприятных минут, затем найти информацию про Hard-reset (правило 30-30-30), убедиться что всё сломалось, и наконец понять, что настраиват-то теперь надо через Wi-Fi, a не WLAN. И вот, когда 8 кругов ада уже пройдены, страшный dd-wrt успешно установлен и настроен, вдруг осознаешь, что l2tp-соединение не устанавливается. На форумах ничего полезного. Злость, отчаяние и мысли "блин, я мог бы и получше провести этот вечер!". И вдруг слабая надежда - совет в одной из веток попробовать ввести Gateway (L2TP Server) цифрами... И оно срабатывает! Дофаминовый взрыв, открытая на радость бутылка пива и этот пост. Как же приятно что-то успешно разрюхать)
