Большинство имеет весьма смутные представления, связанные с тем, что мормоны многожёнцы, сектанты, повернутые на книге Мормона и прочие не относящиеся к истине выдумки. Миф номер один это конечно же наличие нескольких жён, на самом деле у них как и у всех христиан может быть только одна супруга. Те, кто проповедует полигамию это отдельно взятая группа лиц, носящая название Фундаменталистская церковь Иисуса Христа Святых последних дней и к основной массе мормонов отношения не имеющая. Исходя из определения слова «секта» - школа, учение, используется для обозначения религиозной группы, отделившейся от основного направления и противостоящей ему; здесь сложно придти к одному мнению, сами мормоны считают себя христианами, но кроме Библии, которую они почитают как первую книгу, члены церкви также верят в Книгу Мормона, которую явил миру их пророк Джозеф Смит (как он её принёс это отдельная история), однако мормоны себя не противопоставляют ни одной другой ветви христианства, лично я сектантами их не считаю. Есть же ветхий и Новый Завет, а у них ещё своя книга ???? Мормоны платят десятину, то есть 10% от своего дохода отдают на нужды церкви, можно раз в месяц, можно раз в год, при этом никто не ведёт проверок правда ли член церкви отдал десятую часть заработка, а в случаях, когда у семьи тяжёлое финансовое положение ничего платить не надо. Исключают из церкви не по денежным вопросам????, а при нарушении «слова мудрости», куда входит отказ от алкоголя, сигарет, кофе/чая (вот это по мне так бред), целомудрие (секс допустим только в браке), то есть, если супруг изменяет - его исключают, если будучи не в браке ведёт активную половую жизнь, что об этом все знают, - тоже исключают, если бухает, курит, наркотики употребляет - чао, бамбино ???? обратно в лоно церкви вернуться можно, но это не так просто. Я могла бы ещё много чего о них рассказать и, если вам оно интересно, дайте знать я напишу ещё один пост с ответами ????
