Последние вести с полей донесли, что в японской локализации перерожденную Лару Крофт озвучит Юко Кайда – известная сэйю и актриса театра префектуры Канагава. Юко можно услышать в более чем семидесяти аниме-сериалах и полнометражках. Среди озвученных персонажей числится Симэй Рёмо – одна из главных героинь аниме «Школьные войны» / Ikkitousen, ее голосом говорит Клэр Рэдфилд в полнометражке «Обитель зла: Вырождение» / Resident Evil: Degeneration и т.п. В зимне-весеннем анимационном сезоне голос Юко принадлежит героине аниме «Игра Тихайи 2» / Chihayafuru 2nd – Ямамото Юми.
В качестве актрисы дубляжа кинофильмов для японского проката, Юко Кайда тоже занимает не последние роли. В числе ее заслуг озвучка Эммы Фрост в блокбастере «Люди Икс: Первый класс», Кэрол Феррис в фильме «Зеленый фонарь», вампира Виктории в двух частях саги «Сумерки»... И это далеко не весь послужной список.
