Унверцагте (Der Unverzagte; ок. 1250? - ок. 1300?, годы деятельности 1280-е) - немецкий миннезингер. Его прозвище переводится как `неустрашимый` или `бесстрашный`. О нём неизвестно никаких биографических сведений. Известно лишь, что он был бродячим музыкантом, ходил от двора к двору и исполнял свои песни знатным особам. Унверцагте является автором многочисленных шпрухов (короткое стихотворение назидательного свойства, написанное простым разговорным языком), написанных на средневерхненемецком языке. Многие из них критикуют буржуазию и дворянство. Один из шпрухов критикует Рудольфа I Габсбурга. Возможно, прозвище миннезингера связано как раз с тематикой его творчества. Он не боялся в своих сочинениях указывать на пороки знати и назвал себя поэтому "Неустрашимым". К нескольким произведениям сохранились мелодии (в Йенском песеннике). Одним из произведений Неустрашимого является песня-панегирик.
Шпрух "Der Kuninc Rudolf" критикует Рудольфа I Габсбурга. Неустрашимый критикует его за скупость. Он пишет, что тот любит слушать песни, истории бродячих музыкантов, но не платит им за это. Унверцагте пишет, что знатные люди должны нести милосердие, даровать мир бедным, защищать своих людей, быть щедрыми и справедливыми, ведь именно для этого Бог наделил их властью и богатством. За их щедрость Бог воздаст им Царствием Божьим. Также он описывает, как ищет могущественных дворян, чтобы петь им свои песни. Он получает за это от них вознаграждение. "Да вознаградит Бог того, кто от имени Его делится своим богатством...", - пишет Неустрашимый. В последнем куплете он сравнивает ростовщика со свиньёй. "Богатый ростовщик похож на откормленную свинью. До тех пор, пока ростовщик жив, нет прока от него, никому он неинтересен. Но когда он помирает, новости распространяются далеко и к нему проявляют интерес. Его богатство должно быть распределено средь многих наследников. То же самое касается откормленной свиньи. С её смертью вы получаете много прекрасных вещей, полезных для многих людей: ветчину, мясо, жаркое".

That’s my advice.
Knights and squires should not flee from their lords
when helmets are hewn in battle and friend must stand
by friend.
My noble lords, do not spurn my advice:
guests should be greeted and their needs ascertained.
Be a thoughtful host and take good care of your people!
Defend them against their enemies,
and be generous when it is right that you should give!
You princes and rulers, you should recall
that God has chosen you to judge and show mercy.
You are called lords so that you may root out injustice
and bestow peace on the poor: thus you show that you
are well-bom.
You should cultivate loyalty and liberality, I venture to
advise you.
Life is short, so do not procrastinate.
A lord is just like the next man
if he does not act in accord with his noble birth.
Cultivate peace, all you of noble birth,
and God will reward you with His kingdom.
I am a guest among strangers and a host of the arts.
I am looking for many a powerful nobleman
in the hope that he will ask me in.
As a guest I receive gifts from many a nobleman
throughout the year.
May God reward him who, in His name, shares his
wealth for honour’s sake.
I shall lavish praise on such people with my singing.
However far afield I may wander through foreign lands,
I shall fondly recall them.
But those shameless and wicked cowards shall be
stinted of praise,
I shall broadcast their shame far and wide, though I be
silent at home.
Inartistic nobles give their money to inartistic people.
They do so simply in order that their gifts may be
small.
Why should one be grateful to them for that?
Who should praise them for it?
You should praise them over a beer: such praise is
without honour.
Singing and mastery on the fiddle deserve a little
reward in their need.
If something is indispensable, nobles should give it to
them
such money is far better spent than on an inartistic
man.
Beery praise is not widely acknowledged.
A rich usurer is like a fattened pig:
as long as the usurer is alive, no one has any use for
him;
but when the usurer dies, the news spreads far and
wide,
and his interest and wealth
have to be shared among many heirs.
The same is true of the fattened pig when it dies:
with its death you gain many a good friend;
shoulders, hams, brawn and roasts are sent out to
many people.
That is how we divide the fattened pig: I can compare it
to the usurer.
