Albert Camus. “The Human Crisis” (starts at 11:50)

Albert Camus originally gave this lecture "La Crise de l'homme" on March 28, 1946, at the McMillin Academic Theater at Columbia University during his first and only trip to the United States. 70 years later, the lecture was delivered by dramatic actor Viggo Mortensen (1958) in a version translated into English by Alice Kaplan.
