Друзья, если кто не в курсе - не так давно я вернулся с фестиваля Arctangent (www.facebook.com/atgfestival), что проходил под Бристолем.
Такой бешеной концентрации новаторских групп в рок-музыке не существует больше нигде в мире. Заявленный формат - math/post/noize-rock, что в принципе верно, но многие участники серьезно раздвигают эти словесные рамки. Фестиваль прошел во второй раз и, по словам очевидцев, собрал в полтора раза больше людей, чем в первый. Что чертовски приятно!
Даже абсолютно осенний холод, ливень, не прекращавшийся весь второй день, грязь по щиколотку, вылет из лайн-апа одной из моих любимых групп Tangled Hair и поздний приезд в первый день, из-за которого не вышло послушать The Physics House Band, не дали испортить впечатление от столь грандиозного мероприятия.
Надеюсь, что в будущем возможно будет организовать нечто подобное (хотя, безусловно, не настолько эпическим составом) и в Москве. Пока же можете насладиться крутейшими и разнообразными живыми видео от групп из моего личного топа. Alarmist, 100 Ones и Jamie Lenman (у которого приличного лайва, увы, нет) стали для меня открытием.
Составляйте компанию на будущий год. )

Friends, if anyone does not know - not so long ago I returned from the Arctangent festival (www.facebook.com/atgfestival), which took place near Bristol.
Such a frenzied concentration of innovative rock bands does not exist anywhere else in the world. The declared format is math / post / noize-rock, which is correct in principle, but many contributors are seriously pushing this word limits. The festival was held for the second time and, according to eyewitnesses, gathered one and a half times more people than the first. Which is damn nice!
Even the absolutely autumn cold, the downpour that did not stop the whole second day, ankle-deep mud, a flight from the line-up of one of my favorite Tangled Hair bands and a late arrival on the first day, because of which The Physics House Band did not work, were not given spoil the impression of such a grand event.
I hope that in the future it will be possible to organize something similar (although certainly not so epic) in Moscow. In the meantime, you can enjoy the coolest and most diverse live videos from groups from my personal top. Alarmist, 100 Ones and Jamie Lenman (who, alas, has no decent live) were a revelation for me.
