Ведь без того нам дали много. Кто хотел, воочию лицезрели шествие олимпийского огня и олимпийской зажигалки. Факел побывал в гостях у космонавтов. Да, на орбите был потухший, но он горел в наших сердцах. В подобном безопасном исполнении его можно было пронести даже сквозь газовую трубу — другой символ предстоящего праздника. С трубой, кстати, было бы наиболее органичное сочетание для сырьевой империи. Впрочем, всё впереди.
Я не удивлюсь, если тайна зажжения олимпийской чаши в Сочи раскроется огненным столпом, вылетающим из национального достояния с девизом «Гори всё синим пламенем»…
В Сочи нужны медийные лица. Кто с широкими улыбками и почти непритворным восторгом умеет изображать радость по поводу самых ничтожных успехов отечественных спортсменов. Кто в случае череды неудач на спортивных аренах легко переключится на «самые лучшие в мире стадионы, самый лучший в мире пресс-центр, самую комфортную олимпийскую деревню». Обыкновенный русский болельщик со своей красной мордой здесь лишний. Это какие-нибудь норвежцы способны объявить на время Игр внеочередные каникулы для студентов и школьников, предоставить дополнительные отпуска трудящимся (к слову, норвежцы вообще лояльны к «голубым» и пресмыкаются перед Америкой).
Надо понимать, что Сочи-2014 — это колоссальное телевизионное шоу. От качества картинки зависит величие России во всём мире. А наш человек, часто не фотогеничный, мятый, небритый, нередко в подпитии и слабо владеющий литературным слогом, превратит телекартинку в постыдную нелепость.
Потому президент и правительство предприняли всё возможное, чтобы не допустить нашего человека на Олимпиаду.
Всеми силами они сдержали тот убогий уровень жизни, который не позволит подавляющему большинству жителей страны осилить приезд и проживание в финансовом плане. «Бюджетный» пакет с хоккейной программой с проживанием в трехзвездочной гостинице на четыре ночи обходится в 260 тыс. руб., VIP-пакет — недельная программа с соревнованиями по фигурному катанию и церемонией закрытия Игр — в 440тыс. Свободных мест в гостиницах с ценами от якобы 2,9 тыс.руб. за номер давно не осталось, будто и не было никогда. В Адлере предлагают жилой гараж за 35 тыс.руб. в сутки, комнату в частном доме в совхозе «Россия» — за 20 тыс. Кроме того, прибывший в Сочи гражданин РФ обязан будет зарегистрироваться и получить специальную карточку.
Поговаривают, что данная процедура не обойдётся без участия ФСБ. Хотя, учитывая скорости чиновников, для большинства карточка поспеет разве к чемпионату мира по футболу, только состоится он пока в Бразилии. К тому же добираться в олимпийскую столицу придётся поездом или самолётом, если в наличии окажутся билеты. Проникнуть иначе не удастся — Сочи взят в блокаду, и путь на автомобиле заказан под угрозой крутых санкций. А пешком, как древние греки в Олимпию, теперь дойдут, наверное, лишь Каниськина и Кирдяпкин.
Намертво защитив Сочи от проникновения соотечественников, власть не оставила без внимания проблему коренных жителей курортного города. Неизвестно, что остановило правительство от их временного выселения, ведь они вполне могут создать какие-нибудь непредвиденные сложности для будущей феерии. Конечно, предусмотрены меры и в их отношении. На время Олимпиады к 20-летию Конституции будет забыта такая её статья, как свобода мирных собраний и демонстраций. Окажется ли данная мера достаточной, покажет время. К будущим соревнованиям можно будет скорректировать все прочие статьи Основного закона, наши люди уж чересчур вольно ими пользуются.
Через некоторое время миллионы россиян прильнут к экранам телевизоров, чтобы болеть за своих. Станут считать медали. А в антрактах между трансляциями продолжат созерцать прежнюю телеколоду из «звёзд» политики, эстрады и спорта. Вот только вопрос. Неужели эта участь была бы иной, если бы за проведение Олимпиады взялась любая другая страна?"
