Не потому что, а скорее вопреки изучению японского, повадилась я изредка читать произведения классической японской литературы. Точнее так: неистово возлюбив "Записки у изголовья" и преодолев половину "Повести о Генджи", дерзаю изредка читать сказания о военных походах да личностях великих. В переводе, конечно же. И всем рекомендую, ибо ничто так не расширяет кругозор, глаза и восприятие, как:
1) Монахи. Нет, это нифига не милые и кроткие люди, посвятившие себя богу. Это скорее гопники, роль семок и пивасика у которых выполняют сутры. Одна община побила другую? Обычное дело. Монахи по ночам нападают на людей и грабят? Ваще ноу проблем. Тюкаем мужика по темечку, отжимаем товары да женщин - и на молитву! И все это с мыслями о Пути.
2) Крутизна главного героя. Если парня в детстве/отрочестве могли спутать с женщиной - все, вы вычислили главного доминатора повествования. Будет крошить врагов направо и налево, периодически давая на себя полюбоваться абзаца на полтора-два. Смиритесь, что от его красоты будут пищать все.
3) Крутизна боев. Перед каждым боем, даже если это схватка класса «Он спрыгнул с седла и тут же получил стрелой в шею. Конец», будет подробно описано, кто из присутствующих во что был одет и чем вооружен. Переодеваются они чаще, чем дерутся, и пока еще ни разу не повторялись. Барби бы такой завидный гардероб…
4) Слезы. Плачут все. Всегда. Постоянно. Слезы утирают рукавами одежды или доспехов. Нужно просто смириться, что чувства нахлынули, слезы подступили и вот уже шестнадцать лбов плачут от того, что у них только по лепешке на рыло. И нет, не надейтесь! «Роса оросила рукава» - это тоже про слезы!
5) Эпичность боев. Ощущения от фраз «…три страницы описаний одежды и поединка… вот таким образом Такой-то убил Такого-то. А потом была затяжная битва на три дня и война на четыре года. После неё Такой-то поехал…» неописуемо. Ну, подумаешь, война. Проехали.
6) Сказки. Время было темное, и на рассказах о «стаде в тысячу слонов, живших в горных пещерах» хочется аплодировать стоя.
7) Логика. «Нас считают козлами. Это нас печалит. Давайте тогда грабить и убивать людей, что ли?». Все как в жизни, претензий нет =)
8) Перерождение. Когда читаешь о людях, которые стопроцентно уверены, что живут не первый и далеко не последний раз, понимаешь, откуда берутся перебегающие шоссе бабушки. Видимо, тоже верят =) «Помру, подумаешь! Зато в следующей жизни буду связан с господином». И да, враги тоже уверены, что ты еще переродишься. Так что доброты не ждите =)

Not because, but rather in spite of the study of Japanese, I got into the habit of reading the works of classical Japanese literature from time to time. Will crumble enemies to the right and left, periodically letting himself admire the paragraph for one and a half or two. Accept that everyone will squeak from his beauty.
3) The steepness of the battles. Before every fight, even if it is a class fight “He jumped off the saddle and immediately got an arrow in the neck. The End ”, it will be described in detail who of those present was dressed in what and what was armed. They change clothes more often than they fight, and so far they have never been repeated. Barbie would have such an enviable wardrobe ...
4) Tears. Everyone is crying. Is always. Constantly. Tears are wiped off with sleeves of clothing or armor. You just need to accept that feelings have surged, tears have come, and now sixteen foreheads are crying because they have only a cake on their snouts. And no, don't get your hopes up!
