Даже более того, чаще вокруг острова суша, нежели плещутся волны! В этот раз нам крупно повезло приехать к Мон Сан Мишель в высокую воду и увидеть, как монастырь отражается в лучах рассвета. Буквально через два часа от воды не осталось и следа! Если соберетесь в эти края, посмотрите график приливов: три дня в месяц, когда дорога на остров оказывается под водой и можно оказаться в ловушке в Средневековом замке! Так себе перспектива, учитывая цены на отели! =))

On the contrary, it’s normally pretty shallow or even dry around the island! We were very lucky this time to see Mont Saint Michel at high tide with a reflection in the morning light! Just in a couple of hours there was no trace left of the waves that greeted us in the morning!
If you plan a visit, make sure to check the tide chart: there are 3-4 days in a month when the road is under water and you might end up being trapped in the Middle Age castle! A pretty average perspective taking the price per night in the local hotels! =))
