В начавшийся «год собаки» хотелось бы воспользоваться этим поводом и вспомнить о самом близком и самом верном друге человека…
В 90-ые потоком шли разоблачения в документальных фильмах и статьях о том, что Юрий Гагарин не был первым космонавтом, а просто первым из выживших. Это отчасти правда, потому что самым первым космонавтом, оказавшимся на орбите, была собака Лайка и она действительно погибла. А потом еще был целый ряд пусков, когда гибли собаки. Чтобы потом полетел человек, и живым, и невредимым вернулся с орбиты. В этом есть что-то символическое, что первым космонавтом Франции стала кошка, космонавтом Америки – обезьяна, а у нас первыми космонавтами были собаки. Собака самое верное и самое преданное из животных, готовое к самопожертвованию ради и для человека. Именно к собаке в России прикрепилось устойчивое словосочетание «друг человека». На самом деле, далеко не во всех культурах к собакам относятся подобным образом. Есть культуры, презирающие собак, требующие их изгнания. Товарищеское отношение к собакам присуще культурам индоевропейским. В Индии собак считают священными животными. В Авесте говорится: «Разумом собаки держится мир». В митраизме собака является спутником Митры, и символ не только преданности, но и искренности. Исследователи заметили, что собаки действительно становятся похожи на своих хозяев, перенимая от них стиль поведения, ритм, мимику. В Египте Сириус называли собакой Солнца, звездным псом. С Сириусом связывали, не только разлив Нила, но и общие календарные исчисления.
В христианстве единственный святой, имеющий зооморфные черты, св. Хритофор. Наверное, если бы человек превратился во пса, вряд ли бы он стал святым. А вот наоборот возможно… Собаки они готовы идти за человеком до самых пределов. В том числе и до Царствия небесного… Согласно одной из легенд о святом Христофоре (Христоносце) он помог ребенку-Христу переплыть через речку. Собаки они хорошо плавают. Почему бы псу не спасти ребенка. Я так и вижу, как пес к нему подплыл, а он обхватил руками его шею, и они вместе доплыли до берега… Собака не раз спасала человека и от лютого зверя, от голода, от нищеты, от лихих людей, почему бы собаке однажды не спасти и Сына Человеческого. Какой же рай без собаки и взаимной любви собаки и человека…
P.S. 60 лет назад в 1958 году символом, начавшегося года, собаки стала наша Лайка…
