Хотел бы рассказать о музее Васа (ну, или Ваза). Но сначала наверное в двух словах про саму историю. Мало ли кто не знает. В общем сюжет очень символичный. В годы укрепления шведского абсолютизма было решено построить корабль-символ этого самого абсолютизма. Самый мощный, самый крепкий, самый быстрый и самый вооруженный. И назвать по имени правящей династии. Ну и построили. В 1625г. И по прямому приказу короля (на то он и абсолютизм) сделали его излишне узким (чтобы уж точно самый быстрый, при изрядном вооружении) По этому поводу посудина получилась хоть и очень помпезная но с высоким центром тяжести. Вышла из гавани тут же почти затонула, зачерпнув воды открытыми пушечными портами. При стечении народа. На примерно тридцати метрах. А поскольку мачты были выше, они торчали из вод воды, напоминая о "триумфе". Мачты спилили, пушки подняли, а про корабль и думать забыли. Да и сам абсолютизм вскоре сошел на нет. Находясь в пресной воде, без доступа кислорода, корабль на удивление хорошо сохранился. А в 60-х годах ХХ века его подняли и построили удивительный музей. О нем в следующем посте.

The masts were cut down, the guns raised, but they forgot about the ship. And absolutism itself soon faded away. Being in fresh water, without access to oxygen, the ship is surprisingly well preserved. And in the 60s of the twentieth century, it was raised and an amazing museum was built.
