- Конечно, Европа вряд ли признает эти выборы, это ведь политика, - говорит Габор. – Но это не говорит о том, что за ними не стоит наблюдать. – На мой взгляд, вдали от мест, где выборы проходят – ДНР и ЛНР, организованно все на очень высоком уровне. – Я убедился в том, что это свободное волеизъявление. А для себя же я хотел выяснить – что движет людьми, почему они так воспротивились Украине? Тут же я увидел, что все они, сегодняшние беженцы – непреклонны и бессмысленно их отговаривать. Я уже чувствую, что Украина допустила какую-то непростительную ошибку, обидев этих людей, и мне кажется, что я понимаю их гнев. И мне даже кажется, что назад не повернуть – точка невозврата пройдена. Украина потеряла Донбасс навсегда. И ей сейчас самое время задуматься. Понять, где была допущена та роковая ошибка, чтобы ее не повторить, чтобы не настроить против себя и другие регионы, чтобы сохранить целостность страны.
Габор Дьёни уверен, что пройдет много времени, прежде чем мировое сообществе примет и признает произошедшее, отделение Крыма и теперь уже и Донбасса. Но другого пути нет.
- Европа во власти прокиевской пропаганды, там не знают, что происходит на юго-востоке Украины. А если кто начинает говорить правду, то он попадает в ловушку – его считают агентом Москвы.
- Вас не считают агентом Москвы?
- Пока нет. Но возможно теперь будут, - смеется Габор Дьёни. - Хотя, как не искал, я не видел бандитов и террористов среди жителей ДНР и ЛНР, среди беженцев. Я видел жертв войны, несчастных людей. Но, в то же время, я увидел свободных людей, которые сами хотят решать свою судьбу. И сегодня они это делают.

And it even seems to me that there is no turning back - the point of no return has been passed. Ukraine has lost Donbass forever. And now is the time for her to think. To understand where that fatal mistake was made, so as not to repeat it, so as not to set other regions against oneself, in order to preserve the country's integrity.
Gabor Gyoni is sure that a long time will pass before the world community accepts and recognizes what happened, the secession of Crimea and now the Donbass. But there is no other way.
- Europe is dominated by pro-Kiev propaganda, they do not know what is happening in the south-east of Ukraine. And if someone starts telling the truth, then he falls into a trap - he is considered an agent of Moscow.
