— Для нас отношения этих детей с информационной средой — черный ящик. Мы здесь похожи на курицу, которая высидела утят и теперь в панике мечется по берегу. Мы не особенно понимаем, что они там делают, насколько им там безопасно. Недавно родители жаловались мне на встрече, что дети не читают. А я напомнила им про Фамусова, который был очень озабочен тем, что дочь его читает романы. Родители говорят: «Ну это же зависимость!» А когда вы Толкиена читали в 12 лет, а его бы у вас кто-то отнял, — ваша реакция отличалась бы от ломки? Компьютер тоже дает возможность пожить в параллельной реальности.
Мы не очень понимаем характер их общения. Вроде бы они общаются меньше, но, с другой стороны, — общаются непрерывно. В каком-то смысле они и футбол смотрят вместе, и на каникулы не расстаются, хотя могут быть в разных странах. Они все равно обмениваются шутками и фотками. Это общение другого качества, но нельзя сказать, лучше оно или хуже.
