Из кокоса делают арак, местная водка 34 градуса и еще готовят тодди, это кокосовая бражка, похожая на квас. Косметическое кокосовое масло используют повсеместно в косметике, как самостоятельный продукт для волос и кожи лица и тела, масло используют как лекарство. Внимание, кокосовые скорлупки служат "дровами" для барбекю, а из листьев пальм, на которых растут кокосы, строят заборы, крыши и дома! А еще на Шри-Ланке есть такая поговорка: "Выпивай три кокоса в день и тебе не нужен будет никакой доктор". Так что кокос это чудо орех и на Шри-Ланке знают тысяча и один способ его применения;)!
