В далёкой южной стране поймали трёх преступников и решили их повесить. Два были разбойниками, а третий против власти бунтовал, ходил, говорил, чтобы люди полицейских не слушались, дети - взрослых и вообще всех учил как жить. Не понравилось это местным жителям - запомните, такое никому не нравится - и решили они вздёрнуть его за компанию с остальными.
Друзья третьего подождали пока он помрёт, потом тело его спрятали для похорон. А потом в том месте где спрятали тела не нашли. Места там южные, гнусные, шакалы сгрызли, там, или собаки - непонятно, тем более, что и было это две тыщи лет тому назад, учёных не было, чтобы это записать, а в округе жили сугубо сказочники - семьями на поселении.
И сказочники эти сообразили рассказать друзьям повешенного что это не собаки его сгрызли, или там, может, сами сказочники на мыло сварили - места там южные, гнусные, повторяю; и вообще на югах везде так, южнее Курска-Саратова начиная, а то и в Курске-Саратове уже не айс; а типа вознёсся он на небо и там перед высшим богом за всех людей заступается.
И так эта идея забитым, затурканным и безграмотным людям того времени понравилась, что они начали этому вознесенцу молиться и всякое обещать, в том числе, деньги.
А другие, похитрее, увидели, что деньги обещают вознесенцу на небе за помощь. Дак вознесенец-то - тю-тю, а деньги отлично на земле пригодиться могут. Решили бизнес вокруг этого построить и построили. За две тысячи лет очень замысловатый бизнес получился и очень прибыльный, со многими отдельными проектами - вот типа как сегодня граждане за куличами тысячами по улицам ходят."
