Командир части в Забайкалье погиб, спасая людей при взрывах

Тела первых двух погибших при пожаре на военном складе в Забайкалье уже опознаны. Один из них — командир части. Рискуя жизнью, он вывозил людей из огня на служебной машине. Однако грузовик накрыло взрывом, и автомобиль сгорел. Вторая опознанная жертва — работник склада. Всего погибли десять человек. В больницах остаются шестнадцать раненых. На месте сгоревшего арсенала разбирают завалы.
Это максимально близкое расстояние, на которое сегодня разрешают подходить к складу, где накануне прогремели взрывы. Сегодня утром к тушению здесь приступила и авиация.
Вся авиационная техника оборудована водосливными механизмами. Воду берут прямо из реки в нескольких сотнях метров от места тушения. Вертолеты выстраиваются буквально в очередь.
Экипажи вертолетов Ми-8 и самолетов Ил-76 прибыли в регион сегодня и сразу же начали свою работу. Машину в течение всего дня кружат и сбрасывают воду на лесной массив вблизи арсенала. Несмотря на ветреную погоду с таким подкреплением с воздуха военным удается остановить распространение огня. Всего за сутки пожар полностью потушен.
"На сегодняшний день все очаги ликвидированы, никакой угрозы для населения и окружающих склад боеприпасов и горючего опасности не представляет", — говорит заместитель министра обороны России Дмитрий Булгаков.
Пожар начался поздно вечером и при резких порывах ветра мгновенно перекинулся на территорию части, где хранятся боеприпасы. Прогремело более двадцати взрывов. Волной от детонации выбило стекла в домах жителей двух близлежащих поселков. В больницы края за помощью обратились двадцать три человека. Это и военные, и гражданское население, в том числе, дети. У большинства осколочные ранения, ожоги и травматический шок.
"У этих пациентов, которые находятся в отделении реанимации, это минно-взрывные ранения, с повреждением многих участков верхних и нижних конечностей, лица, и у них имеются ожоги, но ожоги небольшой площади", — рассказывает заместитель главного врача по медицинской части городской больницы 1 города Читы Федор Чепцов.
Более тысячи людей были эвакуированы. Как обещают местные власти, жители уже скоро смогут вернуться в свои жилища. И сегодня же начнут завозить шифер и оконные стекла, чтобы жители смогли отремонтировать свои дома.
"Мы, безусловно, окажем помощь людям, сейчас определимся с семьями пострадавших, с ущербом, окажем помощь и тем, у кого, к сожалению, близкие уже ушли и тем, кто, к счастью, остался жив, но пострадали жилища", — сообщает губернатор Забайкальского края Константин Ильковский.
На месте найдены тела десяти погибших – все они были обнаружены в грузовике. На "Камазе" начальник базы и военнослужащий по контракту, рискуя жизнями, собирали людей, чтобы успеть вывезти из огня. Но разорвавшийся снаряд не дал им покинуть территорию арсенала. В министерстве обороны заявили — это те, кто боролись со стихией до последнего. По факту их гибели уже возбуждено уголовное дело.
