Наконец-то побывал во всех 3 странах Балтии, и могу уже сделать небольшое стравнение. Конечно, анализировать трудно, поскольку в Таллине и Вильнюсе я был как турист в краткосрочных поездках, а в Риге я уже живу второй год, но тем не менее, попробую ????
С точки зрения туристических маршрутов - все 3 столицы однозначно стоят посещения, и утверждение, что 1-2 дней на просмотр каждого города достаточно, я считаю неверным. И в Таллине я много чего не видел, и в Вильнюсе ещё есть места, которые хотел бы посетить в следующую поездку, да и в Риге ещё есть достопримечательности, мною не охваченные ????
Про язык - языковую ситуацию в Риге я уже описывал в прошлых постах, добавить мне про неё особо нечего. В Таллине русская речь также слышна, доводилось общаться по-русски, с хамством не сталкивался, общался по-русски как с русскоязычными, так и с эстонцами. В Вильнюсе русская речь слышна значительно реже, но тоже есть, в основном, я говорил по-английски, однако, были и ситуации, когда люди по своей собственной инициативе при общении со мной переходили на русский.
В Вильнюсе частично понимал надписи и вывески, в литовском языке есть много общего и со славянскими языками и с латышским. Часто останавливал себя, чтобы не заговорить там по-латышски ???? Эстонский же язык не похож ни на один язык, с которым мне доводилось работать, но слышал, что это своеобразный "конструктор-лего" из суффиксов, и если понять принцип построения слов, то будет уже легко.
О климате - возможно это были совпадения, но при моих поездках из Риги в Таллин - я ощущал разницу в климате. Если в Риге в одной рубашке мне было жарковато, и я засучивал рукава, то по приезду в Таллин я ещё и куртку надевал. И наоборот, возвращаясь из Таллина, я чувствовал, что в Риге заметно теплее. Разницу в климате Вильнюса и Риги не заметил, но на границе Латвии и Литвы было заметно теплее, чем в столицах. Возможно, что опять совпадения.
В Таллине и Вильнюсе больше неплохой (на мой взгляд) современной застройки, в Риге тоже есть, но поменьше. Исторические центры все разные, но у каждого есть свой шарм. Уныло-депрессивные районы есть везде, видел и в Таллине покосившиеся деревянные дома, рижский Московский район - это тоже жесть ещё та, в Вильнюсе не понравился район возле вокзала, тоже много обшарпанных зданий.
Пишу, и думаю, про самые любимые места в этих городах. В Таллине чего-то пока не могу назвать, надо ещё по нему поездить - посмотреть. В Риге обожаю - Бастионную горку, Кронвальдский парк и Дамбу, откуда открывается шикарный вид на Старый город. В Вильнюсе я был в восторге от проспекта Гедеминас - вот там бы я хотел жить. Чувствуется и история Литвы, и современность и дух Европы, всё как я люблю!
Во всех 3 городах шикарно кормят. В Балтию однозначно стоит делать гастрономические туры! В Таллине очень понравилось кафе Пегас, там один только пивной хлеб чего стоит (в том смысле, что он вкусный, а не его цену :-D), в Вильнюсе есть ряд кафе с национальной кухней. Основа литовской кухни это картофель. Картофель с мясом, картофель с овощами, картофель с картофелем ???? В Вильнюсе есть такая же сеть пиццерий, что и в Риге, и там все мои скидочные карты актуальны, что не могло не радовать ????
Таллин и Рига - города равнинные, Вильнюс же довольно холмистый, и после долгих прогулок я чувствовал бОльшую усталость.
На этом пока всё, надеюсь, что побываю, поезжу по этим городам ещё, и рекомендую все 3 города для посещения!

I often stopped myself so as not to speak Latvian there ???? The Estonian language, on the other hand, is not like any other language that I have ever worked with, but I heard that it is a kind of "Lego constructor" made of suffixes, and if you understand the principle of constructing words, it will be already easy.
About the climate - perhaps it was a coincidence, but on my trips from Riga to Tallinn - I felt a difference in the climate. If in Riga it was hot for me in one shirt and I rolled up my sleeves, then upon arrival in Tallinn I also put on a jacket. And vice versa, returning from Tallinn, I felt that it was noticeably warmer in Riga. I did not notice the difference in the climate between Vilnius and Riga, but it was noticeably warmer on the border of Latvia and Lithuania than in the capitals. It is possible that again coincidences.
Tallinn and Vilnius have more decent (in my opinion) modern buildings, Riga also has it, but less. The historic centers are all different, but each has its own charm. Sadly depressive districts are everywhere, I saw rickety wooden houses in Tallinn, the Riga Moskovsky district is also a tin, in Vilnius I did not like the area near the station, there are also many shabby buildings.
I am writing and thinking about my favorite places in these cities. I can't name anything in Tallinn yet, I still need to travel around it and see. In Riga I adore - Bastion Hill, Kronvaldsky Park and Dam, from where a gorgeous view of the Old Town opens. In Vilnius, I was delighted with Gedeminas Avenue - that's where I would like to live. You can feel the history of Lithuania, modernity and the spirit of Europe, everything I love!
In all 3 cities the food is gorgeous. Gastronomic tours are definitely worth doing in the Baltics! In Tallinn, I really liked the Pegasus cafe, where only beer bread is worth something (in the sense that it is tasty, not its price :-D), in Vilnius there are a number of cafes with national cuisine. The basis of Lithuanian cuisine is potatoes. Potatoes with meat, potatoes with vegetables, potatoes with potatoes ???? Vilnius has the same network of pizzerias as in Riga, and there all my discount cards are up-to-date, which could not but please ????
Tallinn and Riga are flat cities, while Vilnius is quite hilly, and after long walks I felt more tired.
