Когда я говорю, что живу в Автово, многие знакомые делают странное лицо. Типа: "Нашла место! Жопа мира! Там интеллигентные люди вообще не живут". А вот я люблю нашу станцию и даже немного ею горжусь.
#Автово - одна из старейших станций петербургского #метро, открыта в 1955 году. В 2011 внесена в реестр объектов регионального культурного наследия, а в 2014 вошла в список 12 красивейших станций метро в мире по версии #Guardian.
В подземном зале 46 бетонных колонн, из которых 16 облицованы рельефным стеклом. Колонны спроектированы так, что отражение света создает иллюзию, будто бы они полностью стеклянные. Изначально планировалось сделать такими все 46, но подрядчики не уложились в срок к открытию станции, и оставшиеся колонны обшили белым мрамором. А потом Хрущёв высказался против "архитектурных излишеств" - и всё осталось так, как сейчас. Что в очередной раз подтверждает: нет ничего более постоянного, чем временное.
В Автово очень красивые массивные люстры. Основная тема в оформлении станции - победа, поэтому все декоративные элементы выполнены в виде лавровых венков, мечей, копий и т.п. Смотрится всё это очень внушительно и торжественно. Я никогда не сажусь в вагон поезда, самый ближний к выходу, как делают многие, чтобы сэкономить полминуты и не толкаться в толпе. Я, наоборот, всегда еду в дальнем вагоне, чтобы можно было пройти через всю станцию, между стеклянных колонн, под этими огромными люстрами. Особенно круто это делать поздно вечером, когда людей почти нет. Ощущение, что идешь по гигантскому подземному сказочному дворцу - и электрички вместо драконов.
Если кто не знает, по нашему метро водят экскурсии. Я была на такой и очень всем рекомендую. Мы ездим здесь каждый день, мимо такой красоты, в которую люди вложили не только свой труд, но и идею. И на экскурсии об этом очень интересно расскажут. И вы поймаете себя на том, что некоторых деталей вообще не замечали. А такие вещи хорошо знать - всегда можно рассказать интересное гостям из других городов и стран, да и питерским друзьям тоже.

In the underground hall there are 46 concrete columns, of which 16 are faced with relief glass. The columns are designed so that the reflection of light creates the illusion that they are completely glass. It was originally planned to make all 46 so, but the contractors did not meet the deadline for the opening of the station, and the remaining columns were sheathed in white marble. And then Khrushchev spoke out against "architectural excesses" - and everything remained as it is now. Which once again confirms: there is nothing more permanent than temporary.
Avtovo has very beautiful massive chandeliers. The main theme in the station's design is victory, so all decorative elements are made in the form of laurel wreaths, swords, spears, etc. It all looks very impressive and solemn. I never get into the train car closest to the exit, as many do, in order to save half a minute and not to be jostled in a crowd. On the contrary, I always ride in the back car so that I can walk through the entire station, between the glass columns, under these huge chandeliers. It is especially cool to do this late at night, when there are almost no people. The feeling that you are walking through a giant underground fairytale palace - and trains instead of dragons.
If anyone does not know, excursions are conducted on our metro. I was on this and highly recommend it to everyone. We travel here every day, past such beauty, in which people have invested not only their work, but also an idea. And on the excursion they will tell you very interestingly. And you will catch yourself that you did not notice some details at all. And such things are good to know - you can always tell interesting things to guests from other cities and countries, and to your St. Petersburg friends too.
