Как детям учиться на Бали и почему наши дети не учатся в Итоне (часть 1, продолжение следует)

Ну, условном Итоне. «Новой школе» в Москве, классной датской Школе мира, дилижанском колледже UWC и прочее. «Можете же себе позволить!» — слышала я от «сочувствующих», но не слишком близких людей, кто мало знает нас и наш подход к жизни.

Как вы знаете, мамочка я замороченная. Копаю, исследую, чувствую, обсуждаю. Выбирать школу мы начали давно... ???? Помню нашу встречу в 2016 с Глебом Юном [id268888889|@yungleb] в Москве, основателем «Гонки героев» и «Школа Героев Gymnasium», и мы, все такие осознанные и продвинутые родители...с тогда ещё первым беременным животом)
Кстати, я до сих пор считаю эту школу единственной, куда бы отдала своего ребёнка в Москве, если бы он был...мальчиком.

А теперь про мои родительские откровения и наш путь от вариантов хоумскулинга/анскулинга до «зелёной школы» на Бали.

1️⃣ «Образование — фигня, ребёнок может прекрасно проживать в семье без внешнего участия». Это моё заблуждение вдрызг разбила Василиса полутора лет, когда в Америке практически за руку повела сама нас в детский сад, а я охренела от 24/7 с малышкой без няни в чужой стране в съемной квартире, не шибко приспособленной к жизни с малышами. Я просто увидела, как она хочет общаться и социализироваться и насколько другие дети ей интереснее, чем мы, особенно в режиме 24/7.

Теперь я с особым восхищением смотрю на тех, кто выбрал хоумскулинг, при этом всегда понимающе улыбаюсь, когда вижу, что в основном это семьи с 3+ детьми. Не исключаю, что на 3-4ом ребёнке мы тоже попадём в эту «секту», если бы не одно но...

2️⃣ «Всем нужно ходить в лучшую школу, как была у меня! Ничего нет лучше второй гимназии г.Санкт-Петербург с классическим образованием и двумя языками, которую окончила я сама». Моё второе заблуждение, пока мы не протестировали нашего ребёнка по всем возможным системам с рождения (human design, disc, астрология, нумерология, психотипирование, проективные тесты родителей...). Стало настоящим откровением, что на наш корабль взошёл пассажир со своей системой мер и весов, а главное, миссией и душой.

Признаюсь, когда увидела в описании трёхмесячной козявки Василисы «будет обожать природу, ковыряться в земле, заведите ей коз и гусей», то немного сникла. А как же наши родительские амбиции о сцене TEDx, выступлениях и, на худой конец, книге?! Удивилась опять, когда астролог порекомендовал «приучать её быть больше девочкой, сделать розовую комнату, а то пацанство в крови»???? Но вот когда мне прислали первый дескриптор Ясны от [club72762590|@mylablife] с чёрным по белому «эмигрант с рождения», я улыбнулась. Теперь перечитываю все наши дескрипторы и потихоньку веселюсь — и чем дальше, тем больше. С ростом и развитием девочек понимаю, насколько важным было узнавать и принимать своего ребёнка таким, каким он пришёл. А не таким, каким бы хотели его сделать (переделать) мы.

3. «Лучшее образование неизменно. Как учили нас, так пусть и учат наших детей. Есть МВА, Итоны и Гарварды, стоят же тысячу лет»
Это выветрилось у меня из головы, слава Богу, задолго до рождения детей, еще со времён [club22768095|@skolkovoschool], в которой, кстати, с недавних пор появились программы для детей. И неспроста. Меняется мир, меняются запросы общества, рождается принципиально другое поколение людей. Им нужны другие методы, форматы, ресурсы. Гиблое дело вписывать их в квадратно-гнездовые ячейки, в которых выросли мы сами. Я до сих пор искренне считаю, что вторая гимназия была лучшим для меня выбором...в 1993 году. Но я так же искренне верю, что Василисе и Яснушке нужны совсем другие форматы в связи с их картой жизни и той копилкой ценностей, которые они выбрали, придя в нашу семью.
Максимум, который я могу сделать здесь и сейчас — это беспрерывно учиться самой, исследовать образование во всех его формах, смотреть последние научные исследования и, главное, изучать своих детей каждый день пристально, чтобы лучше понимать, кто они, откуда и куда идут.

А про выбор балийской школы, систему неогуманизма и как нам ходится в школу, где запрещены продукты животного происхождения и глютен, расскажу в следующем посте.

Well, conditional Eaton. "New School" in Moscow, classroom Danish Peace School, Dilijan College UWC and so on. "You can afford it!" - I heard from “sympathetic”, but not too close people who know little about us and our approach to life.

As you know, Mommy, I am confused. Digging, exploring, feeling, discussing. We started choosing a school a long time ago ... ???? I remember our meeting in 2016 with Gleb Yun [id268888889 | @yungleb] in Moscow, the founder of the "Race of Heroes" and "School of Heroes Gymnasium", and we, all such conscious and advanced parents ... with the then first pregnant belly)
By the way, I still consider this school to be the only one where I would send my child in Moscow if he were ... a boy.

And now about my parental revelations and our path from homeschooling / unschooling options to the "green school" in Bali.

1️⃣ "Education is bullshit, a child can live well in a family without external participation." This delusion of mine was smashed to pieces by Vasilisa for a year and a half, when in America she practically took us by the hand to kindergarten, and I got crazy 24/7 with a baby without a nanny in a foreign country in a rented apartment, not very adapted to life with babies. I just saw how she wants to communicate and socialize and how much other children are more interesting to her than us, especially 24/7.

Now I look with particular admiration at those who have chosen homeschooling, while always smiling knowingly when I see that these are mainly families with 3+ children. I do not exclude that on the 3-4th child we will also fall into this "sect", if not for one thing ...

2️⃣ “Everyone needs to go to the best school like mine! There is nothing better than the second gymnasium in St. Petersburg with a classical education and two languages, which I graduated myself. " My second misconception, until we tested our child for all possible systems from birth (human design, disc, astrology, numerology, psychotyping, projective tests of parents ...). It became a real revelation that a passenger boarded our ship with his own system of measures and weights, and most importantly, his mission and soul.

I confess, when I saw in the description of the three-month-old booger Vasilisa “she will adore nature, poke around in the ground, get her goats and geese,” then she wilted a little. But what about our parenting ambitions for the TEDx stage, the talks and, at worst, the book ?! I was surprised again when the astrologer recommended “to teach her to be more a girl, to make a pink room, and that kid is in the blood” ???? But when they sent me the first descriptor of Yasna from [club72762590 | @mylablife] with black and white "emigrant from birth", I smiled. Now I reread all our descriptors and have fun on the sly - and the further, the more. With the growth and development of the girls, I understand how important it was to recognize and accept your child as he came. And not the way we would like to make it (remake).

3. “The best education is invariable. As they taught us, let them teach our children. There are MBAs, Eatons and Harvards, and they cost a thousand years. "
This has disappeared from my head, thank God, long before the birth of children, since the days of [club22768095 | @skolkovoschool], in which, by the way, programs for children have recently appeared. And for good reason. The world is changing, the needs of society are changing, a fundamentally different generation of people is being born. They need other methods, formats, resources. It is a bad thing to fit them into the square-nest cells in which we ourselves grew up. I still sincerely believe that the second gymnasium was the best choice for me ... in 1993. But I also sincerely believe that Vasilisa and Yasnushka need completely different formats in connection with their life map and that piggy bank of values that they chose when they came to our family.
The most I can do here and now is to continuously learn myself, research education in all its forms, watch the latest scientific research and, most importantly, study my children closely every day in order to better understand who they are, where they are from and where they are going.

And about the choice of the Balinese school, the neo-humanism system and how we go to a school where animal products and gluten are prohibited, I will tell you in the next post.
