Ситуация со сгоревшим торговым центром в Кемерове не была бы столь резонансной, если бы не одно но: люди погибли не потому, что огонь быстро распространился и никто не успел убежать, а потому что в целом творился какой-то дикий ад по всем фронтам, из за чего и появились жертвы в таком количестве.
В век высоких технологий люди на автоматизме снимают всё происходящее на камеры и телефоны, а затем выкладывают в интернет, тем самым лишая многие события каких-то тёмных пятен. Вот и сейчас, согласно видео из «Вишни», чётко видно: входы в торговый центр, в целях экономии электричества на обогрев, сокращены – потому люди не могли быстро покинуть даже первый этаж; пожарные выходы, видимо в целях экономии на оплату охранников – закрыты; двери в кинозалы во время показа, в целях экономии на оплату контролёров следящих за «зайцами» – также закрыты. И всё это было, есть и будет во всех периферийных ТЦ, ТРЦ, ТК, ТРК и так далее – потому что так работают проверяющие органы по всей стране. Те самые органы, что за неделю до пожара пришли и проверили «Вишню» по всем нормам пожарной безопасности, радостно одобрив всё это на каких-то определённых условиях.
Кроме того, отдельно взятая история контактного зоопарка наиболее показательна: «Медуза» опубликовала комментарий управляющего, который успел покинуть «Вишню», где тот рассказывает, как он дал указания забрать вещи и документы, и эвакуироваться. При этом он даже не вспомнил о двух сотнях животных, которые остались в его зоопарке, ведь документы важнее. «И почему эта история показательна?» - спросите меня вы, а я отвечу: потому что сотрудники кинотеатра, которые также успели покинуть ТЦ, точно также покинули свои рабочие места, оставив детей и взрослых в запертых ими кинозалах гореть заживо, как администратор контактного зоопарка оставил животных.
Не менее яркой является и история одного из отцов, чьи три маленькие дочери звонили ему из запертого кинозала, задыхаясь от дыма просили его сделать что-нибудь. «Медуза», и другие очевидцы, говоря об одном: сотрудники МЧС долго собирались, команды из начальников противоречили друг другу, и оперативная работа наладилась не сразу. Не вешая трубку, отец пытался направить спасателей к кинозалу, вёл их за собой, пока та не получили другое назначение в сложной ситуации с пожаром. Возможно там они были нужнее, возможно среди них просто не нашлось героя, который бы плюнул на приказ и пошел ломать двери кинозала, чтобы спасти детей, возможно каждый из них понимал, что давать отцу кислородную маску – значит обречь его на гибель, ведь он не обладает навыками спасателя, чтобы лезть в огонь. Так или иначе, развернувшись в последний момент в обратную сторону, сотрудники МЧС обрекли отца смотреть на то, как они удаляются от кинозала, в котором заживо горят три его дочери.

Without hanging up, the father tried to send the rescuers to the cinema, leading them until she received another assignment in a difficult situation with a fire. Perhaps they were more needed there, perhaps there was simply no hero among them who would have spat on the order and went to break down the cinema doors to save the children, perhaps each of them understood that giving his father an oxygen mask means dooming him to death, because he is not has the skills of a rescuer to climb into the fire.
