Каким был для меня 2019 год?
Это был год островов: Мальта, Сицилия, Майорка и Манхеттен — на 3 больше, чем обычно. Хотя кроме них были города Бостон, Филадельфия, а также Екатеринбург и Сочи. Ну и, конечно же, огромная Мексика.
Это был год впечатлений: я прикоснулся к культуре Майя и мексиканским традициям, ощутил силу ведьм Салема и холодные ветра мальтийской весны, искупался в сеноте, добавил в копилку ещё две страны где водил машину и узнал, что такое высыпаться на протяжении месяца.
Это был год приятных встреч и знакомств: Энтони Рапп и Кен, Ферандо, [id390504725|Александр Жуков] и многие другие потрясающие люди.
Это был год жестокой правды: дело Ивана Голунова, Московское дело, разгон мирных протестов, публичная безнаказанность гнилых чиновников, произвол силовиков и другие важные события в нашей страны.
Но главное, 2019 стал для меня годом, когда я ощутил давно утраченную свободу. Впервые за много лет я предоставлен самому себе, и впереди меня ждёт лишь неизвестность. Целый мир, в котором я могу выбирать, где и чем заниматься. Для этого пришлось принести жертву, но она того, определённо, стоила.
Следующий год будет интересным. Надеюсь не только у меня. С новым годом! ????

What was 2019 like for me?
It was the year of the islands: Malta, Sicily, Mallorca and Manhattan - 3 more than usual. Although besides them there were the cities of Boston, Philadelphia, as well as Yekaterinburg and Sochi. And, of course, huge Mexico.
It was a year of impressions: I touched the Mayan culture and Mexican traditions, felt the power of Salem witches and the cold winds of the Maltese spring, bathed in a cenote, added two more countries where I drove to my moneybox and learned what it means to get enough sleep for a month.
It was a year of pleasant meetings and acquaintances: Anthony Rapp and Ken, Ferando, [id390504725 | Alexander Zhukov] and many other amazing people.
It was a year of cruel truth: the case of Ivan Golunov, the Moscow case, the dispersal of peaceful protests, public impunity for rotten officials, the arbitrariness of the security forces and other important events in our country.
But most importantly, 2019 became for me the year when I felt the freedom long lost. For the first time in many years, I am on my own, and there is only unknown ahead of me. A whole world in which I can choose where and what to do. A sacrifice had to be made for this, but it was definitely worth it.
The next year will be interesting. I hope not only for me. Happy New Year! ????
