Культура дождалась меня в Хьюстоне. Houston Fine Arts Museum
И в этом месте чувствуется дух Техаса! Как-то им так удалось разместить много экспонатов в небольшом здании и при этом создать ощущение простора. Техас равно простор.
А может это только первое впечатление из-за ромбов?
Вход. Зал метров 400 квадратных, белый рассеянный холодный свет, серые тона и только 5 панно из оранжевых огромных ромбов.
На заднем плане группа школьников и толстоватый экскурсовод в пижамных цветастых штанах предостерегает от приближения рук к картинам.
Итак. Организация пространства музея. Наверно, этому где-то должны учить!!! Выставленный и выверенный математически точно свет, ровный настолько, чтобы видеть то, что нужно, не щурится и не напрягаться; 10-и метровая высота потолков; фактура и цвет стен разные в каждом зале; космический фиолетовый переход из корпуса в корпус и, вишенка на торте, идентичность пола в залах экспозиции и в лифте;)
В общем, продуманность пространства до малейших деталей????????
Гигантские окна, от пола до потолка. Причём, на этих окнах мелкая решетка, как кольчуга (видать чтоб не вынесли искусства в массы), но она прикрыта висячими какими-то нитками с шариками (под типу как у нас в коридорах вместо дверей любят вещать) и в результате смотрится это окно изнутри как картина 17 века ( учитывая ещё, что вид на церковь)
Как и у нас, стоят смотрители, не бабулечки правда, а мужчины и женщины разных национальностей. Уж не такие одухотворенные как наши, но приветливые. Правда дышать на шедевры тоже запрещали
Весь этаж построен так, что проходишь круг, начиная с зала 15 века, заканчиваешь 20-М.
Вся история живописи как на ладони:
Сначала, значит, рисовали лики господа, потом целые библейские сюжеты, потом мифы с богами и девами, потом перешли к реальности: натюрморты, букеты, потом научились хорошо изображать людей, портреты и сцены из жизни, такое все реальное, что так бы и съел кусочек курочки с их стола (характерно как меняются лица с эпохами!); потом, научившись хорошо рисовать пошли в отрыв. После 19 века тебе и люди и пейзажи то мазками, то линиями, одновременно и фас и профиль (Пикассо естественно)
ну, а наш век, вообще ничего человеческого в живописи не оставил: сплошные пятна...(хнык)
Что будет центральным мотивом живописи в 21 веке? Ни Бог, ни человек, ни еда, ни природа...
К счастью в Хьюстонском музее изящных искусств не выставлены массово спорные произведения современного искусства. Лишь вышеописанные бодренькие оранжевые ромбы на белой стене и сваренная (от слова сварка) широко известным индусом, композиция из нержавеющих элементов бытового обихода, таких как половники, терки, кружки, найденные на улицах Дели.
О, по-ходу, мусор должен стать лейб мотивом искусства 21 века.
Были очень рады встрече со знакомыми. встретили и Матисса и Ван Гога и даже Шагала, двух Сезанов...
- о, Пикассо, и ты здесь! Не виделись с момента переноса тебя в Главный Штаб, как поживаешь? Не скучаешь по Франции?
Вот смотришь-смотришь, картины- картины, взгляд скользит и вдруг раз: так-с, какой интересный портрет мужчины, кто это у нас? Подходишь ближе-работы Модильяни. Вот это я понимаю талант и искусство. Вот выделил глаз и привлеклось внимание. И смотреть можно долго, наслаждаясь цветовыми решениями.. Для сравнения, была там ещё выставка Ротко (Rothko). Беларус, между прочим. Эмигрант. И вот висят 10 картин. Три из них черные наверху, серые внизу, остальные серые наверху черные внизу. Ну я не знаю. 50 оттенков серо-черного? Это маркетинг, это не искусство.
Ну вот, в целом, так я насладилась талантом художников. Здорово, что в музее Хьюстона, далеко не главного города США есть такие великие работы. Вот бы в Луге, или там в Южно-Сахалинске были представлены работы мировых авторов. Но в Южном пока, несмотря на огромные месторождения природного газа, только один Музей. Краеведческий. И ни одного Ван Гога

Culture waited for me in Houston. Houston Fine Arts Museum
And in this place you can feel the spirit of Texas! Somehow they managed to place many exhibits in a small building and still create a sense of spaciousness. Texas is equally spacious.
Or maybe this is just the first impression because of the rhombuses?
Entrance. The hall is 400 square meters, white diffused cold light, gray tones and only 5 panels of huge orange rhombuses.
In the background, a group of schoolchildren and a plump tour guide in colorful pajama pants warns against approaching the paintings.
So. Organization of the museum space. Probably, this should be taught somewhere !!! Exposed and mathematically verified light, even enough to see what is needed, does not squint or strain; 10-meter ceiling height; the texture and color of the walls are different in each room; cosmic purple transition from building to building and, the cherry on the cake, gender identity in the exhibition halls and in the elevator;)
