6 мест в Техасе для детского кругозора
Мы с мужем живем в Техасе (ребёнку 2 года и 8 месяцев). Путешествуя по США, повидали немало достопримечательностей. Но выделю 6 особых, куда не жалко вернуться, где осталась частичка души, куда можно возвращаться и находить новые смыслы, где ни ребёнок ни взрослый не заскучает.
Ну а вдруг вы будете в Техасе? :)
1. Ботанический сад Далласа
Находится здесь http://www.dallasarboretum.org/
Там нет табличек на латыни и он прекрасен обилием цветов, благоуханием трав, кронами деревьев, чарующими водными запрудами. За этим всем и стоит везти сюда свое чадо. Взрослые получат не меньшее эстетическое удовольствие. Сад напомнил Екатерининский парк города Пушкина: сложные клумбы, альпийские горки, скульптуры спрятаные в тени деревьев. Мы были весной, в период цветения голландских тюльпанов, гортензий и фиалок. Имея membership можно застать все периоды цветения разнотравья и многоцветья. да и всевозможные детские мастер классы посетить
2. Хьюстонский зоопарк.http://www.houstonzoo.org/
Хьюстонский зоопарк, покоривший наше с дочкой сердце с первого посещения Вот подробный рассказ http://www.ourtx.com/issue-427/14633 Зачем идти: чтобы посмотреть на животных в условиях приближённых к оригинальным. Слоны живут со страусами в мини саванне, Лев Джонатан с львицами в своей прерии, медведи бродят по скалам. По расписанию волонтёры рассказывают интересные факты о животных, демонстрируют шкуры, зубы, фотографии. Поскольку после двух-трех часов ребёнок устанет, то все обойти вы не успеете. Опять-таки выход membership (для живущих в Хьюстоне)

Лучшее что мы видели, презентующее историю развития Техаса. Это действующее открытое ранчо, на территории которого расположились 4 дома-музея 1830, 1860, 1890, 1930 годов. В двух из которых можно все трогать - ребёнку в 2,8 было интересно. Трактор, коровы, кони, куколки 18 века, утварь... Три раза в день проходит шоу ковбоев (с фееричным выступлением коров). Регулярно устраивают мастер классы по "историческим дисциплинам": шьют кукол, готовят аутентичную еду...
4. Крепость Alamo Сан Антонио.http://www.thealamo.org/
Наше путешествие попало на реконструкции боев времён войны за независимость Техаса. Даже наша маленькая девочка заинтересовалась - настолько естественно и захватывающе историки и актёры представляли информацию. Кроме этого, рядом располагались прядильщицы-чесальщицы, чьей задачей было показать как из цветов хлопка или шерсти соткать в конечном итоге полотно. Планируя приезд в Сан Антонио, если вы с ребёнком, то обратите внимание на расписание мероприятий в Аламо. Получат удовольствие и порцию захватывающей истории США взрослые и дети
5. South padre island
Если вы планируете отдохнуть у моря в Техасе, то езжайте на south padre island. А ребёнка не забудьте отвезти в центр спасения морских черепах, чтобы познакомить наследника с добродеятельностью волонтеров, которые находят раненых, обессиленных черепах, ставят их на "ноги" и выпускают обратно в море. Когда я смотрела церемонию выпускания черепашки обратно в море после реабилитации, я всплакнула. http://www.seaturtleinc.org/sea-turtles-live/hatchcam/За посадкой семян доброты в сердца детей приезжайте сюда.
6.Остин. Спринг пул https://austintexas.gov/department/barton-springs-pool
Зачем сюда везти ребёнка? Искупаться раз, рассказать о взаимодействии человека и природы два. Когда-то, это было просто место для купания. в 1950-е года власти облагородили территорию, поставили запруды и ограждение, добавили спасателей, очистительные сооружения и получили животворящий бассейн под открытым небом. Огромный, как и все в Техасе. В любое время года можно окунуться в настоящую реку, а не в кафельно-хлорированную емкость. Дно природное, образовано из горных пород, только берега забетонированы. The more refreshing swim is hard to find. Вот можно придти и искупаться. Увидеть город с реки – ни с чем не сравнимое удовольствие.

Безусловно, в Техасе полным-полно интересных мест, которые не вошли в мой список. Это и огромные пещеры, детские музеи, национальные парки, фермы по сбору урожая, родео, ярмарки. Brasos park c аллигаторами, спящими на дорожках чего стоит. Но, поставленная перед необходимостью выбора выбрала вышеперечисленные как нетривиальны познавательные и равномерно расположенные по штату

6 places in Texas for children's horizons
My husband and I live in Texas (child 2 years and 8 months). Traveling around the USA, we saw many sights. But I will single out 6 special ones, where it is not a pity to return, where a piece of the soul remains, where you can return and find new meanings, where neither the child nor the adult will get bored.

1. Dallas Botanical Garden
