Город-Питер
Город-Питер, совсем не Ницца, весь из шпилей, дворцов и парков. Город - Северная столица, где ампир императорских замков. В центре Невский, а рядом Мойка, там, где Пушкин, дворы Капеллы. И людей неулыбчивых столько, хаотично спешащих по делу. Чехов, Горький, Толстой и Герцен, Блок, Цветаева, Заболоцкий. Здесь оставили память сердца, от сует убежав московских... Город-крепость блокадных улиц, артобстрелами занавешен. Львы на мостике улыбнулись, Сфинксы дружат с Невою неспешно. В облаках утонул Исаакий, а на стрелке застряло детство. На Дворцовом колышатся флаги, Эрмитаж - у Адмиралтейства... Город-Питер - совсем не Ницца, тих, суров, молчалив и замкнут. Мне ночами он часто снится, лишь ветрам всей душою распахнут...

The city of St. Petersburg is not at all Nice, quiet, stern, silent and closed. I often dream of him at night, only to the winds with all my soul ...
