Рецензия получилась настолько летней и теплой, что я не мог ее скрыть :)
Если вы фанат Two Door Cinema Club, то несомненно ждали релиза их нового альбома, Beacon. Если же вы не фанат, а просто любитель отличной музыки, то этот альбом обязательно должен быть на вашем радаре.
Одна из причин этого кроется в большом успехе первого альбома TDCC — Tourist History. Будет ли второму альбому под силу хотя бы оправдать ожидания? Лучше ли он Tourist History или как минимум не хуже?
Первый же трек «Next Year» не источает оптимизм, в отличии от «Cigarettes in the Theatre». Если первому альбому не хватает слегка высокомерного чувства крика миру «Мы сделали это!», то Beacon вместо этого твердо уверяет, что «Мы еще здесь!». Он звучит более глубоко, эмоционально, лирично.
Высшей точки альбом достигает вместе с «Someday», рождая в эту же минуту огромное желание отдаться вихрю эмоций под него, но уже на танцполе. Это Two Door Cinema Club в своих лучших проявлениях — острое исполнение, великолепные барабаны, удивительные гитары, бархатный вокал.
Оптимистичные вечерние вибрации альбома не скроют от нас красоты и спокойствия «The world is watching(with Valentina)» и «Settle». Эти два трека приносят состояние лета.
От начала и до конца Beacon оставляет чувство повышенного сердцебиения, чего-то неосязаемого, что оставалось вакантным после Tourist History. Но лучше или на одинаковом уровне находятся альбомы?
Они слишком разные для сравнения, что прилично удивило. Удивило, потому что даже не было мыслей, что Two Door Cinema Club станут экспериментировать так быстро. Я ожидал услышать Tourist History part 2. Beacon доказал, что TDCC собираются долгое время находиться рядом, ведь не боятся экспериментов, что в сегодняшней музыкальной индустрии значит очень много.

If you are a fan of the Two Door Cinema Club, you have definitely been looking forward to the release of their new album, Beacon. If you are not a fan, but just a lover of great music, then this album should definitely be on your radar.
One of the reasons for this is the great success of TDCC's first album, Tourist History. Will the second album be able to at least live up to expectations? Is it better than Tourist History, or at least not worse?
The first track "Next Year" does not ooze optimism, unlike "Cigarettes in the Theater". If the first album lacks the slightly arrogant sense of shouting to the world "We made it!", Then Beacon instead firmly assures that "We're still here!" It sounds deeper, more emotional, lyrical.
The album reaches its highest point together with "Someday", giving birth at the same moment a great desire to surrender to the whirlwind of emotions under it, but already on the dance floor. This Two Door Cinema Club is at its best - edgy performance, great drums, amazing guitars, velvet vocals.
The optimistic evening vibrations of the album will not hide from us the beauty and tranquility of “The world is watching (with Valentina)” and “Settle”. These two tracks bring the state of summer.
From the beginning to the end, Beacon leaves a feeling of an increased heartbeat, something intangible that remained vacant after Tourist History. But are albums better or at the same level?
They are too different for comparison, which was pretty surprising. I was surprised, because I didn't even think that Two Door Cinema Club would experiment so quickly. I expected to hear Tourist History part 2. Beacon proved that TDCC are going to be around for a long time, because they are not afraid of experiments, which means a lot in today's music industry.
