В этом году мы не сможем быть на Невском в колонне Бессмертного полка. Но как только позволят обстоятельства, я приведу туда свою дочь и расскажу ей, почему День Победы - один из самых наших главных и любимых семейных праздников. И, уверена, она поймет, когда узнает кем были её прабабушка и прадедушка.
Стрикаленко Алексей Васильевич (30.03.1923- 16.03.2006). Родился в семье медиков, в городе Звенигородка Черкасской области, Украина. Семья была сослана в Архангельскую область, где он учился и откуда в мае 1942 года уехал курсантом в Московское пулеметное училище. С 10 ноября 1942 по 20 февраля 1944 - на фронте:командир орудия войск артиллерии 122 мм гаубиц 93 гвардейского стрелкового полка, старший сержант. В 1944 был ранен в левое плечо с повреждением лицевого нерва, находился в эвакогоспитале, откуда уволен в запас по болезни. Я мало слышала его историй о войне, только однажды, когда в школе задали написать о подвигах родных, мне было вскользь, неприметно, рассказано как дед завоевывал медали "За отвагу", "За победу над Германией", орден Великой Отечественной войны.
Стрикаленко (Архипова) Валентина Михайловна (04.10.1923 - 10.06.2002). Родилась в Петрограде, где и жила всю жизнь, не щадя себя ради родного города и семьи. Всю блокаду пережила в Ленинграде, в составе полка противопожарной обороны тушила зажигалки на крышах домов. Мы свято храним её медаль "За оборону Ленинграда".
После войны оба работали в пассажирском порту, где и познакомились. Эта фотография сделана 22 ноября 1951 года, в день их свадьбы. 51 год вместе, двое дочерей, четверо внуков, уже трое правнуков. Любим, помним, гордимся, безмерно им благодарны за Победу и за добро в жизни.

This year we will not be able to be on Nevsky in the column of the Immortal regiment. But as soon as circumstances permit, I will bring my daughter there and tell her why Victory Day is one of our most important and favorite family holidays. And I'm sure she will understand when she finds out who her great-grandmother and great-grandfather were.

The family was exiled to the Arkhangelsk region, where he studied and from where in May 1942 he left as a cadet to the Moscow machine-gun school. From November 10, 1942 to February 20, 1944 - at the front: gun commander of artillery troops 122 mm howitzers of the 93 Guards Rifle Regiment, senior sergeant. In 1944 he was wounded in the left shoulder with damage to the facial nerve, was in the evacuation hospital, from where he was transferred to the reserve due to illness. I heard little of his stories about the war, only once, when they asked me to write about the exploits of my relatives at school, I was casually, inconspicuously told about how my grandfather won medals “For Courage”, “For Victory over Germany”, and the Order of the Great Patriotic War.
Strikalenko (Arkhipova) Valentina Mikhailovna (10/04/1923 - 06/10/2002). She was born in Petrograd, where she lived all her life, not sparing herself for the sake of her native city and family. She survived the entire blockade in Leningrad, as part of the fire-fighting regiment she put out lighters on the roofs of houses. We sacredly keep her medal "For the Defense of Leningrad".
After the war, both worked in the passenger port, where they met. This photo was taken on November 22, 1951, their wedding day. 51 years together, two daughters, four grandchildren, already three great-grandchildren. We love, we remember, we are proud, we are immensely grateful to them for the Victory and for the good in life.
