Обычно я таким не занимаюсь, но сегодня просто не могу промолчать, да и может кому будет интересно)
Вчера был на фестивале Park Live в ВВЦ и теперь просто обязан сказать о нём хотя бы пару слов. Сначала про сам фест, потом про группы. Фестиваль организован просто великолепно - шикарное место, большая сцена, отличный звук, куча палаточек с едой и водой с более-менее человеческими ценами, большое количество чистых туалетов, уборщицы, подметающие перед сценой между группами. На огромной территории, огороженной для фестиваля было более, чем достаточно мест для того, чтобы можно было спокойно присесть между группами, пообщаться, перекусить. А ещё нам очень повезло с погодой. Теперь о музыке. Буду писать только про то, что видел, и как это видел, поэтому про Chemical Stage ничего не напишу, т.к. такая музыка меня не интересует.
1. На 7 расу не попал, т.к. слишком рано выступали, а хотелось поспать) Про группу ничего не знаю, не слышал, поэтому не пожалел. Никаких предрассудков на тему "фууу, русская группа", просто не знаю эту группу, не слушал)
2. Phillip H Anselmo and Illegals. Нуууу, что сказать) Ансельмо личность легендарная, хотя бы за это его уже стоит уважать, но...в два часа дня Фил ходит по сцене уплетаю одну бутылку пива за другой, наверно и без косяка за кулисами не обошлось. В итоге на сцену Фил выходит уже в своём "трансе" и даёт шоу. Музыка Illegals ну очень на любителя, мне вообще никак не понравилась, хотя музыканты очень хорошие, вокал Фила вообще не похож на то, что мы все слышали на записях Pantera, можно сказать, что он потерял голос, или что он изменил манеру, но факт есть факт - это другой голос. Между песнями Фил по долгу вёл заплетающимся языком уморительные беседы с публикой про то, что все позеры, он один последний металист, про то, что интернет для кисок, про то, что если вам не нравится этот трэк, то "можете пососать мой..." ну вы поняли. В общем повеселил старик, но как-то очень далеко от музыки. Едем дальше.
3. Karnivool - прогрессивные в правильном смысле слова австралийцы. Имхо лучший звук и исполнение на фестивале. Не являюсь прямо таки поклонником этой группы, поэтому позволю себе несколько замечаний. Довольно странный фронтмэн. Поёт шикарно, мне Мэйнарда Кинана очень напомнил(пару песен вполне можно было принять за A Perfect Circle), но никак не общался с публикой и как-то имхо не в тему пританцовывал. Музыка имхо не концертная, такую надо слушать дома в плеере и втыкать. В принципе звук у группы был шикарный, поэтому можно было и на концерте воткнуть)
4. Wolfmother. "Кто это?", - спросите вы. Скорее всего вы их слышали в саундтреке к легендарной игре Flatout, где несколько их песен было среди не очень обширного саундтрека и там они были в тему. Короче говоря, представьте себе самую убийственную, чумовую и отвязную рок-группу из 70-ых. Представили? Ну вот что-то в этом духе и есть Wolfmother) Очень весёлые и харизматичные музыканты по имиджу немного напоминающие "укуренных". Настоящий непрелизанный и валящий роковый саунд + клёвое музло очень подняли настроение!
5. Mastodon. Ну вот тут произошло что-то очень странное. Уж не знаю чей косяк, но чек начался во время, когда группа должна была уже начать играть, в итоге простояли больше часа в ожидании, при этом сами музыканты мастодона тусовались на сцене, нервничали и помогали техникам, что очень непривычно видеть у команды такого уровня. В итоге, когда группа начала выступление поначалу звук был так себе, и после убийственных Wolfmother и лишнего часа ожидания не особо вставило, но через пару трэков в роде как-то всё раскачалось и зашло. Группа сыграла три новых трэка. Новый альбом я ещё не слушал, но трэки зашли, что обычно не часто бывает для такой музыки на концерте - это реально круто. Барабанщик стал петь гораздо больше, ну и в целом группа стала петь лучше) И вот, когда я ждал классику типа Blood and Thunder или Oblivion группа попрощалась и убежала - это был реальный облом. Вот так расплатились фанаты за просранный чек, обидно, ну да ладно.
6. Deftones. Вот и дошла очередь до моей любой группы из вчерашней пачки. Я был на их прошлом концерте, и это был один из самых крутых концертов в моей жизни, поэтому к Дефтонс у меня были особые ожидания. Группа вышла почти вовремя, зарядила Diamond Eyes и до самого конца я был в той же тёплой, иногда сумасшедшей атмосфере, что и в прошлый раз. Забавно было, что в этот раз Чино был особенно деструктивен, постоянно опрокидывал свой кабинет, или кабинет басиста, запрыгивал на него и с большой амплитудой спрыгивал. Один трек Чино спел прямо в зале, на руках у людей, что вызвало особенные эмоции у людей, ну и нехилую давку) Теперь про косяки, уж не могу я их не отметить. Ужасно звучала гитара, просто каша, и Чино в некоторых песнях, ну просто жесть как опаздывал со словами. Под Дефтонс толпа и качалась и прыгала, собственно за это я и люблю такие концерты. В целом впечатления сугубо положительные)

The festival is organized simply superbly - a chic place, a big stage, great sound, a lot of tents with food and water with more or less human prices, a large number of clean toilets, cleaners sweeping the stage between groups. On the vast territory fenced for the festival there were more than enough places for you to be able to sit comfortably between groups, chat, and have a meal. And we were very lucky with the weather. Now about the music. I will write only about what I saw, and how I saw it, so I won’t write anything about the Chemical Stage, because such music does not interest me.

2. Phillip H Anselmo and Illegals. Nuuuu, what can I say) Anselmo is a legendary person, at least he should be respected for that, but ... at two o'clock in the afternoon Phil walks around the stage and scatters one bottle of beer after another, probably without a cant behind the scenes. As a result, Phil goes on stage in his "trance" and gives the show. Illegals’s music is very amateurish, I didn’t like it at all, although the musicians are very good, Phil’s vocals didn’t at all resemble what we all heard on Pantera records, we can say that he lost his voice or that he changed his style, but the fact there is a fact - this is a different voice. Between the songs, Phil held debt in a weaving language with hilarious conversations with the audience about the fact that all posers, he is one last metalist, about the Internet for pussies, about the fact that if you don’t like this track, then "you can suck mine .. . "Well, you understand. In general, the old man was amused, but somehow very far from the music. We are going further.
3. Karnivool - progressive in the right sense of the word Australians. IMHO the best sound and performance at the festival. I’m not directly a fan of this group, so I will allow myself a few comments. Pretty weird frontman. She sings gorgeous, Maynard Keenan reminded me very much (a couple of songs could well be mistaken for A Perfect Circle), but didn’t communicate with the public and somehow danced in a different way. IMHO music is not concert, this must be listened to at home in the player and stuck. In principle, the sound of the group was gorgeous, so it was possible to stick at a concert)
4. Wolfmother. “Who is this?” You ask. Most likely you heard them in the soundtrack for the legendary Flatout game, where several of their songs were among the not very extensive soundtrack and there they were in the subject. In short, imagine the most deadly, freaky, and freaky rock band of the 70s. Presented? Well, something like that is Wolfmother) Very funny and charismatic musicians on the image a bit like "stoned". This unrealized and wallowing rock sound + cool muzlo really cheered up!
5. Mastodon. Well, something very strange happened here. I don’t know whose jamb, but the check began at the time when the group was supposed to start playing, as a result, stood waiting for more than an hour, while the mastodon musicians hung out on the stage, were nervous and helped the technicians, which is very unusual to see a team of this level . As a result, when the band started the performance, at first the sound was so-so, and after the murderous Wolfmother and an extra hour of waiting, it didn’t really put in, but after a couple of tracks of a kind, everything started to swing and go. The group played three new tracks. I have not listened to the new album yet, but the tracks have stopped, which is usually not often the case for such music at a concert - this is really cool. The drummer began to sing much more, and in general the group began to sing better) And so, when I was waiting for a classic like Blood and Thunder or Oblivion, the group said goodbye and ran away - it was a real bummer. That's how the fans paid for the stale check, insulting, but oh well.
6. Deftones. So the turn came to my any group from yesterday's pack. I was at their last concert, and it was one of the coolest concerts in my life, so I had special expectations for the Deftons. The band left almost on time, charged Diamond Eyes and until the very end I was in the same warm, sometimes crazy atmosphere that the last time. It was amusing that this time Chino was especially destructive, constantly overturning his cabinet, or the bassist's office, jumping on it and jumping with great amplitude. Chino sang one track right in the hall, in the hands of people, which caused special emotions in people, well, a nice crush) Now about the jambs, I really can’t miss them. The guitar sounded terribly, just porridge, and Chino in some songs, well, just tin was late with words. Under the Deftones, the crowd swayed and jumped, which is why I really love such concerts. In general, the impressions are purely positive)
