С ЧЕГО ВДРУГ:
????1)Я знаю английский язык.
????2)Я люблю компьютерные игры
????3)Я разбираюсь в косплее, и околоигровой соц.тематике
1) Хорошо так знаю, даже первое образование лингвистическое. Но как заколебалась вусмерть, так и не захотела больше возвращаться к нему глобально. Только бралась за халтуры переводов, в большинстве своем Ru-En (с русского на английский), переводы же можно проверить сколько угодно раз! С бОльшим восторогом учила людей языку,кстати за смешные деньги.
2)Я мало во что и редко играю, но обожаю это дело.) Олдскульные ГарриПоттер, ВТМ, Ведьмак, Шорох, Дримфолл, да даже Симсы. Привычный женский набор.) Ммм, сесть в удобное кресло,вытянув ноги на системник, положить пальцы на WASD, и выключиться на пару часов из всего.
Но аддикту нельзя в Бельдяжки. То есть, нельзя в онлайн-игры. Эти красивенные, шикарнейше продуманные WOW, Perfect World, Aion, Starcraft, Lineage, Skyrim. Потому что будет со мной, как с алкоголиками. Что не мешает мне оценивать красоту издалека.
КАК:
✨ Недавно ко мне пришла моя прекрасная подруга с предложением, от которого не отказываются: переводить, ни много ни мало, целую конференцию в Лос-Анджелесе. 2 ночи подряд (разница во времени же), американцы строчат субтитры в реальном времени - отсылают по разным странам, где их ждут команды переводчиков, перекладывающих эти субтитры на свой родной язык. Никогда до этого не переводила субтитры, но быстро разобралась, прошла необходимые тесты, и вперед в сказку, энергетик купим по дороге. Конференцией оказался Blizzcon-2017.

ЧТО:
????Километровые глоссарии, программа для быстрого перевода и коммуникации с редакторами, корректорами, чатик с проджект-менеджерами и горсткой таких же упоротых полуночников, поделенных на команды, прямой коннект с Blizzard для выяснения спорных моментов. Высокий профессионализм и дружественная атмосфера.
Все очень классно продумано, видео приходит сегментами, отслеживается и контролируется, неуспевающую команду может поддержать юнитами успевающая. Отзывчивая команда помогает тебе с вопросами типа "это реально переводить, как... попа дракона?".???? Туча интереснейших тем на самой конференции (я хоть не играю, но теперь, честно, купила бы онлайн-билет)). Арты и моделирование, сюжеты, карьера в Близзард, косплей, сообщество, приложения и новые фичи.
СКОРОСТЬ:
????Все очень-очень быстро. Серьезно, прям подстегивает и адреналинит. Чар переживает, что не так оперативно переводит, как многие в команде, но зря, потому что реально девиз нашей команды был "бери больше - кидай дальше"). Мы справились быстрее, чем, внимание, КОРЕЙСКАЯ команда, в которой, по слухам, 100 человек согнали в ангар с бесплатной едой и всеми удобствами, и не выпускали, пока все не закончат. Расслабленно сидящие по домам с кофейком русские опровергли аксиому "Что бы ты ни делал, в мире есть азиат, который делает это лучше и быстрее".) На нас даже ставки делали.)))
????Это было очень интересно, и я бы с удовольствием повторила такой опыт. Этот проект просто вернул мне любовь к английскому, забытую лет на 10, на что им мега-спасибо. Переводы - это может быть весело, на приятные темы, и без канцелярщины. Любовь ПиЭмам и 6 команде, респектище компании (игроки, вам очень повезло с локализаторами, они реально о вас заботятся) и, как я научилась за эти выхи, "за Альянс!")
Даже несмотря на то,что проспав полчаса после первой ночи работы я ехала на мероприятие в Тайяки (про которые еще напишу) до вечера, а после второй ночи проспав три часа, туда же, было здорово. И больше всего в этом марафоне я благодарна за поддержку и заботу ????. Я бы не выжила без тебя!
Фото и видео нас без макияжа и с огромными синяками под глазами сделаны в 4 утра, для понимания масштабов веселухи)

Arts and modeling, plots, Blizzard career, cosplay, community, applications and new features.
SPEED:

???? It was very interesting, and I would love to repeat such an experience. This project just returned me a love of English, forgotten for 10 years, for which they thank me. Translations - it can be fun, on pleasant topics, and without bureaucracy. Even though I slept for half an hour after the first night of work, I went to the event in Taiyaki (which I will write about) until the evening, and after the second night I slept for three hours, it was great there. And most of all in this marathon I am grateful for the support and care ????. I would not survive without you!
