Господи, так снега захотелось…
Хлопьями, летящего с небес,
Чтоб земля невестою оделась
И туман над городом исчез…
Хочется снежинок первых, нежных,
Чтобы люди, позабыв дела -
Вверх смотрели на подарок снежный.
Чтоб сказали вслух: «Зима пришла!»
Хочется услышать смех детишек,
С восхищеньем, трогающих снег…
Вечера зимой добрей и тише,
И блестит вуаль замёрзших рек…
Хочется зимы, чтоб в мире этом
Стало всё хоть капельку белей.
Пусть снежинки полетят по свету,
Радость принося в сердца людей…
Господи, так снега захотелось…

Ожиданьем счастья и чудес…

Lord, I wanted so much snow ...
Flakes flying from heaven
So that the earth would dress the bride
And the fog over the city disappeared ...
I want the first, gentle snowflakes,
For people to forget things
Looking up at a snowy present.
So they said out loud: "Winter has come!"
I want to hear the kids laughing
With admiration, touching the snow ...
Evenings in winter are kinder and quieter
And the veil of the frozen rivers glistens ...
I want winter so that in this world
Everything became at least a bit white.
Let the snowflakes fly around the world
Bringing joy to the hearts of people ...
Lord, I wanted so much snow ...

So that in winter the human soul warmed itself
Waiting for happiness and miracles ...
