Небо Балтики давит свинцом, город держит за горло блокада;
Медный всадник и ангел с крестом батальонам подвозят снаряды.
Львы из камня срываются с мест, чтоб с бойцами подняться в атаку –
Непокорных жестокая месть. Наступление. Крушение мрака!
Непокоренный, прошедший сквозь ад;
Непокоренный, герой - Ленинград!
Непокоренный, на все времена;
Непокоренный, город Петра!
Пишет Жизнь слабой детской рукой даты смерти на саване снега.
Что тогда бы случилось с тобой; смог остаться бы ты человеком;
Не сдаваться и в голос не выть, убивая за хлебные крошки;
Свет надежды сумел бы хранить под раскаты немецкой бомбежки?
Непокоренный, прошедший сквозь ад;
Непокоренный, герой - Ленинград!
Непокоренный, на все времена;
Непокоренный, город Петра!
Чернота. Хрупкий Ладожский лёд, уходящие дети под воду.
Метроном отобьет скорбный счет всех погибших в блокадные годы.
Нервы города – к сердцу земли, силы взять, и к весне возродиться,
Медный всадник к победе летит, неподвластной забвению птицей.

The Bronze Horseman and an angel with a cross bring shells to battalions.
Lions made of stone break away from places so that they can attack with fighters -
The rebellious cruel revenge. Offensive. The crash of darkness!
Unconquered, passing through hell;
Unconquered, the hero - Leningrad!
Unconquered, at all times;
Unconquered, the city of Peter!
Life writes with a weak childish hand the date of death on a shroud of snow.
What would happen to you then; could you remain a man;
Do not give up and do not howl in your voice, killing for bread crumbs;
Could the light of hope be kept under the peals of the German bombing?
Unconquered, passing through hell;
Unconquered, the hero - Leningrad!
Unconquered, at all times;

Black. Fragile Ladoga ice, leaving children under water.
The metronome will beat off the mournful account of all those who died during the blockade years.
