Спектакль поставлен по одноименной книге Рубена Гальего – о жизни детей-инвалидов в детском доме, об их мечтах, маленьких радостях, увлечениях, спорте, об унижениях, борьбе и несломленности, о доброте и ненависти, о беспощадных изъянах системы, уродующей даже здоровых. О смерти, которая всегда рядом, но уже привычная и от того не такая страшная.

Наша студенческая постановка – это попытка поговорить с вами о том, почему систему надо менять, показать, что люди с ограниченными возможностями – такие же, как мы, только другие и умные по-своему, что жалость – это унижающая форма отношения к ним, ведь они проживают каждый день как самый лучший, даже если больно. Не сдаются.

Пока готовились, выяснили, что почти каждый 12-й человек в России инвалид, по данным Федеральной службы госстатистики.

Спектакль покажем впервые, но мы планируем его развивать и ставить ещё, поэтому я буду благодарна вам за ваши истории и мысли, связанные с людьми с ограниченными возможностями и о ситуации системы, в которой мы живем. Они помогут нам в работе над постановкой.

Например, мне иногда кажется, что у нас в стране нет инвалидов, потому что я почти не вижу их на улице. Но ведь это не так. Что думаете? Давайте поговорим.

The performance is based on the book of the same name by Ruben Gallego - about the life of disabled children in an orphanage, about their dreams, little joys, hobbies, sports, humiliations, struggles and indestructibility, kindness and hatred, merciless flaws in a system that disfigures even healthy people. About death, which is always nearby, but already familiar and therefore not so terrible.

Our student production is an attempt to talk with you about why the system needs to be changed, to show that people with disabilities are the same as us, only others and smart in their own way, that pity is a degrading form of attitude towards them, because they live every day as the best, even if it hurts. Do not give up.

While preparing, we found out that almost every 12th person in Russia is disabled, according to the Federal State Statistics Service.

We will show the performance for the first time, but we plan to develop it and put it on, so I will be grateful to you for your stories and thoughts related to people with disabilities and about the situation of the system in which we live. They will help us in the work on the production.
